Plastic or metal or glass who cares everyone is going to secure their phone with a case 3. As a normal user we dont use recording videos in 4k60fps i think 1080p is good. And the update I just received improved a number of factors (including camera, security update and overall fluidity of the OS) that negate a lot of what you mention in this video. Having audio and touch issues with my current unit. Applied for return in Flipkart. New unit is coming tomorrow. Let's see. But overall POCO F1 is definitely a beast of a device if the new unit won't have issues.

bro, even my huawei p20 pro doesn't have widevine l1 certification, but it can stream in hd at netflix, earlier it didn't seems to be, but thn i called after looking into netflix website saying p20 pro does support UHD playback at netflix, they replied u need to have atleast 20mbps (4-5Mb/s)to get hd streaming else it automatically switches to 540p as max output, even in my macbook i cant stream if i am not on high speed WiFi, at mobile network u hardly can ever stream at HD on any device
i saw a lot of comments where people justified the shortcomings by saying 'i don't need it anyway.' GROW UP. just because you don't need something doesn't mean it's not important to someone else. the shortcomings mentioned here are quite just. i deal with street photography and filmmaking based on phones, as im sure many others do the same. i don't currently have a device like op6 as i can't afford it. poco seemed promising. but NO 4K? that's just stupid. the thing is, these omissions would have made sense had they been unfair to ask for, at this price. some of these are just basic things that aren't there on this phone, despite it being MORE than capable. lastly, not everyone can just be 'okay' on a bad user experience. this is a phone you're going to use everyday. let's say you're working on something important, and you forget to take any backup as you thought 6gb is enough ram to keep it in memory. you switch apps, perhaps take a break, and come back to see that the app was closed. will you still justify by saying OH THIS IS ALRIGHT AS I BOUGHT FOR 21K. no, you won't. user experience matters. judging by the cult following of this phone, you guys will perhaps justify any bug by saying IT COSTS LESS SO IT'S OKAY. Depends on people's taste. If you like a clean and a responsive OS, then Stock UI ftw. If customizations is your priority without the bother of bloatware, then go for MIUI.
Great identification C4etech. When i bought OnePlus 5T at 33k no one cared to speak of HD playback on Netflix is an issue. But 21k mobile, it's a big problem.
I don't think that the cons will really matter to anyone coz snapdragon 845 at 21k is just nuts.....it swipes away every con right away....this is a must buy in this price segment. And ash...like always....keep up the good work.

It does heat, have poor management miui n buggy, poor camera pix they are very smooth i don't from where the samples that are coming out are taken . M currently using it. Waiting for its development. Beryllium. Also talking about battery its approx 8 hrs sot plus standby if used continously for moderate usage. Talking about bugs. No battery percentage, network speed indicator hiding on its own.
I think you're new to miui. Let me help you out. First ram management issue, head over to developer options and there disable miui optimization. (It works on my old phone which had miui9) Secondly go to camera setting and might wanna disable beautification opinion and then change the settings to your needs. The ones you've mentioned in last are being worked on. Also does your phone's chin have screen bleeding issue?

I am worried about the rounded corners. At 7:35 where a video is played, one side of the video on the opposite of the notch completely covers the rounded corners, so the corner content is cropped right? Is there a way to avoid it? Though it's a SD 845, I'm gonna go with lg g7,put 9k more and Bam! You get quad dac,2k screen,boom box speaker and full or better control over camera compared to other mobiles in the market. The only thing that lg g7 lags behind is the battery (3000mah). Lg g7 is the most underrated smartphone
There are other issues as well: 1. While calling someone using wired headphones the person on other side gets an echo in their voice which is kinda strange but this I have tested with almost 5/6 headphones 2. While playing games (any games) the audio is not clear when using headphones again.

Pocofone actually has Widewine L3 which does not support Netflix in HD format. It is missing L1 which is required. So please correct that in the video.

Though it's a SD 845, I'm gonna go with lg g7,put 9k more and Bam! You get quad dac,2k screen,boom box speaker and full or better control over camera compared to other mobiles in the market. The only thing that lg g7 lags behind is the battery (3000mah). Lg g7 is the most underrated smartphone
There are other issues as well:
1. While calling someone using wired headphones the person on other side gets an echo in their voice which is kinda strange but this I have tested with almost 5/6 headphones
2. While playing games (any games) the audio is not clear when using headphones again.

What about the display bleeding issue of poco F1, it's worth mentioning.
Just wanted to point out, Widevine L1 is the highest level and is required for FHD content on Netflix and Prime. The Poco F1 already has L3
Pocofone actually has Widewine L3 which does not support Netflix in HD format. It is missing L1 which is required. So please correct that in the video.
Just recommended poco f1 to my friend who has a limited budget but he wants something that can play heavy games amazingly well.. He's happy with the config.. Waiting for the next sale so he can get one.. 👍

Another thing, missing Widewine L1 cannot be rectified through a software update so sadly if you buy a Pocofone you are stuck with watching Netflix in sub HD resolution.
A much bigger issue is buggy 'Android Auto' when connected to the car. Black bar on top and bottom making android auto basically unusable.
