Fantastic playing & tone! It amazes me that Geddy can both play and sing that at the same time, what's more is credit to him for writing such a killer piece!
SO here I was Playing in my room Trying to learn Cinderella Man, I was getting a bit frustrated, so I said to my self, ...."Self lets see if it's on You Tube", and Low and behold there is the Amazing Tim Starace reminding me why I don't have RUclips Videos, .....Man that was great, Thank you.......always a Joy.
Tim, stunning work! Thank you. I was so thrilled that I found this video. I knew you could master it and for some reason this song has always resonated with me as one of the biggest bites of Rush packed into one little song. So damn good.
You make me wanna live again. To hell with slow death. Im getting out all my equipment right now. I thought it was over and i stumbled upon about 5 of your videos so up there you were bored at times. Magnifacent!!!
Hi im only recently starting listening to Rush never heard this track until I saw this cover by Tim which is awesome .checked out Rush playing it but I enjoy your version more.
HOLY SHIT! Your *AMAZING* performance of this song breathes a new life into that song for me. Now I’m going to have to re-listen to “Farewell”! And your TONE is outstanding. When I was playing, I could *never* get *that* tone out of my Ric. You truly do justice for both the song and the instrument. Thank you sir.
This is master level playing, tone, feel and attention to detail - thank you! If I may say so however, and in no way this is a criticism, but Geddy hits his strings A LOT harder. Apparently he breaks E strings regularly, which is unheard of.
Rush doesn't get very funky very often, but man they get down in the instrumental section of this tune! Who would guess that this "straightforward" song is on the same album as the super-prog Cygnus X-1?
Nicely played Tim other than the mid bass part in the guitar solo when it gets into the groove there are 2 different parts to start of then a third part repeat that continues with the 2nd part it's varies the rhythm and punctuation of the notes .......... towards the end of the guitar solo .....isolated bass ruclips.net/video/QMJo_Km4bi4/видео.html
You do the best Rush covers on RUclips as far as I'm concerned.
Really crisp very nice playing
Wonderful! The beautiful basslines, the tone, the playing all on point. Keeping RUSH alive for the next generations! Thanks brother.
Nailed that tone.
