I’m a psychiatric nurse and one of the main issues with mental health is that the powers that be have got rid of thousands of psychiatric beds. In some areas a person can only be admitted if they are sectionable.
I agree with Andrew nurses don’t need degrees they need to go back to the basic nurse training from about 40 years ago. They were trained on the ward and had a couple of weeks in class. That’s when the days when there was respect on the wards not wanting to let your Sister down and knowing the hospital Matron to be coming round to make sure everything was being done properly. All that has gone. Get rid of all the Managers. The NHS could save a fortune 🙏
I worked in a Psychiatric hospital and we said at the time that it wouldn't work. The nursing staff and the OT staff were marvellous. John Major should be outed for doing this. These people were just poorly, and they felt safe in the hospital. Plus, no one wanted them to live next door!
I love William in that beard. He was obviously on holiday. Think he should shave it when holidays are over, but THRILLED with a glimpse now and again of him in it.
