Our family lived in Arizona during the time of 9-11. I remember when Pat Tillman signed up to fight. I also remember when he died. In no way should Harry accept this award. In school, we discussed bowing/curtsying to a monarch. In a nutshell, we were told we were not expected to bow because we are Americans and we have no monarchy here--which is why many of us are angry when Harry and Megan want to be called by their titles. I signed the Petition yesterday against Harry receiving the Tilman award. If you remember, Harry did NOT set up the Invictus Games at all. It was the Royal Foundation and it was William, Catherine and the King. After a while, they gave it to Harry to give him something to do. All he's done since he married is to bring it down. It's the people behind the scenes at Invictus who should get the award if anything. Not Harry.
There isa video of Harry himself saying words out of his own mouth that he was sent to watch the Warrior Games (presumably by someone related to the MOD or Royal Foundation, or the Palace) to see if it would be a good idea to set up something along the same lines for Commonweath countries to participate in. Pat Tillman gave up a 3 million dollar football career to serve his country and fight for our freedom. Complete opposite Harry gave up serving his country by leaving his country to go make millions for himself. Harry has extra protection while serving in the military. What exactly does Harry do for Invictus, it appears that all the employees take care of everything from the program and events to making sure the veterans needs are met. For the hundredth time. Harry did not set up the Invictus Games. It was started by William Catherine and Harry’s Royal Foundation to begin with. It had a big staff and ex military personnel and palace staff working on it. In school, we discussed bowing/curtsying to a monarch. In a nutshell, we were told we were not expected to bow because we are Americans and we have no monarchy here--which is why many of us are angry when Harry and Megan want to be called by their titles. I signed the Petition yesterday against Harry receiving the Tilman award. If you remember, Harry did NOT set up the Invictus Games at all. It was the Royal Foundation and it was William, Catherine and the King. After a while, they gave it to Harry to give him something to do. All he's done since he married is to bring it down. It's the people behind the scenes at Invictus who should get the award if anything. Not Harry.

For the hundredth time. Harry did not set up the Invictus Games. It was started by William Catherine and Harry’s Royal Foundation to begin with. It had a big staff and ex military personnel and palace staff working on it. Later on it was handed over to Harry to front to combat his negative publicity he’d garnered by appearing naked on the front pages playing strip pool in Vegas and dressing as a Nazi at a birthday party. He was not a helicopter pilot he failed the exams several times and was a gunner on the helicopter. He did not complete either of the 2 tours in Afghanistan.

There are rumors & investigations into whether money intended for the veterans is being used to make Meghan happy. She cannot stand for others to get more attention than her. Meghan has turned Harry, who at times was more popular than the late Queen Elizabeth, and now he's one of the least liked. I do agree he and his brother and sister in law did well in getting the Invictus Games going. However Harry and Meghan focus more on using their own Camera people ensuring they get good shots rather than actually focusing on the Invictus Athletes that are around them and I find that incredibly annoying.

At any time anything could have happened. I certainly will not minimize his sacrifice to his country like I will not deduce it from any other soldier female or male. I don’t think many people have done two tours in Afghanistan fighting alongside with the Americans keeping each others back as allies.

Not sure how pictures, Meghan and PH usage of camera got into this conversation. You brought it up. Does not fit the scenario the fact that IG is doing good for the wounded veterans. Sure PH and M are there and being pictured when we have seen only the veterans being promoted or IG being promoted.
Zara had always been entitled to an HRH, being a granddaughter of the Queen. So when the Queen rightly offered it to her and Princess Anne declined on her behalf, Zara was unable to keep the title. But there is nothing to prevent her from now claiming it from the King.

Harry did NOT set up Invictus games. Charles and William were just as involved and Sir Keith Mills did the actual work through the Prince’s Foundation.

Prince Harry is not only a veteran who served his beloved country for ten years, completed not one but two tours to Afghanistan, left with honors to live out the rest of his time/life being a citizen. No not him. We all saw what he did. He championed the Invictus Games for the wounded veterans from all over the world to give them hope, dignity and honor. In my book he is a hero. As an American we value our veterans. We also values who for them. The Invictus Games hosts many countries, including America. I’m grateful for that. Our wounded veterans deserve it and if someone wants to give Prince Harry recognition I totally agree.

Agree. To accept the award for fighting against racism in the RF then turn around and say it wasn’t racism but unconscious bias is ridiculous. They knew what the award was for beforehand so why did they accept it in the first place and then afterwards why didn’t they give it back.
