    Great Video! Excellent tutorial for any one who would like to use whiteboard. I used whiteboard on their first versions, but sadly it looks like they are not bringing back the option to generate Excel style tables just by drawing them, that was a super useful tool and one of my favorites.

    How can I modify templates or change the grids and such? Also, if I create a custom graphics (shape with stickies inside) how can I "Group" them like I can in PowerPoint or something or make them grouped like the templates? Can I break the grouping on a template, modify it, and re-group? I cannot seem to find these features.

    I'm unable to move/organize a template once I drop it on the canvas. Is there a trick to it? I tried to click and drag to select the template box, but it simply move all objects on the canvas. Whereas, when I click on a post-it note, I can move and resize it without any issue. I'm using Whiteboard from the desktop app. I want to build a virtual war room with the templates. So, as we add notes and what-not to the canvas, we will need to move/organize/realign/extend the templates. They seem to be locked in place right after being put on the canvas. What gives?

    • @LearningandTechnology
      @LearningandTechnology  Год назад +1

      The Lasso is your friend here. What I do is shrink the magnification so the template is smaller, then lasso it, copy it, and then zoom in.
      Each element of the template can be used/moved individually - or you lasso and move all of them together

    • @kaoyongvang7918
      @kaoyongvang7918 Год назад +1

      @@LearningandTechnology I did try the lasso when you were covering it in your video. The template does get selected (all the elements) so I can resize. But, still, I cannot move the template to another corner of the canvas fluidly using the mouse. However, upon testing with the arrow keys, the template does move but there's a delay in displaying the new location, so it's hard to properly align the template table with the rest of the canvas. I'll provide this feedback to Microsoft. Thank you for your response!

      You need to ensure that your Teams is configured for “Connected Experiences”.
      This is a slider switch in settings - if it’s enabled for your organization.
      If it’s not there then this is a setting your Teams Administrator has to configure.
      I have a video on how to do this that you can follow (if you are the Admin) or send to the Admin to do.

      @Hoperatives Год назад

      To answer both your question and mine, "Both Laser Pointer and Collaborative cursors require that the Whiteboard is stored to OneDrive or to SharePoint." Your admin has to turn on Whiteboard storage in OneDrive for this to happen and even then, only whiteboards create after that happens will have the laser pointer and collaborative cursors.
