I would do anything to meet her just so I can thank her for what she, her husband, and the family has done for others and me. RFK touched my life when I was young (I was six and I'm 23 now). They are a treasure and I wish we appreciated them more.
I have so much respect for Ethel !! She’s so strong she had much tragedy in her life losing her husband 2 children !! And raising 11!!! Kids unbelievable, the only good thing is she had all her children so there was much of Bobby left !! The love they had
Loseing my husband and raising three kids alone without the money this lady had . I can say your kids are your foundation to move forward . I'm 57 I remember more about Rfk than president Kennedy . Ethel's incredible force that was behind Bobby Tell's the story of Him . BUT , she always Loved him and it's so obvious that she always will . Forever in my heart to Ethel and Bobby ..
Yes this was filmed four or more years ago, the passing of Jean Kennedy Smith leave Ethel as the last survivor of the Camelot Years. Thanks Rory for getting your mum to talk about this part of America's recent political history.
Kerry~Great job! Can't think of a better subject! More women will be part of next generation & Your mother was part of that, eg.your sister, support to her husband &so much more..civil rights. She's living history thanks for your insight &talent
Such beautiful lady what a wonderful nature she doesn’t like to take credit very down to earth woman suffered so much God so horrible to see Bobby was dying front of her she loved her husband so much may God bless you good health
I’ve read the worst via the press (I think it was a vanity fair article that said something so horrible about Ethel Kennedy) but I now realize these things were not true. Yes this giant family has dark stuff but some stories I’ve heard were deliberately put out there by cia according to rfk jr. like that the family were bootleggers. I like rfk jr so much bc I saw him clean up the Hudson River by teaching us all what the laws were, and starting lawsuits against companies that were dumping directly into the river, killing fish poisoning people.I lived in one of the small towns on that river. We just accepted it until he ca,e along. He may have had personal problems just like many people have, but the larger picture: I have never seen so much integrity and sense of purpose from a family. Now I think, in spite of such difficulties, addiction, things like that, so many in that family have given so much to our country. He reminds you of what’s so good about our constitution and shows how laws can be enforced if we join together.
Born April 11, 1928, the sixth child of seven born to George Skakel and his wife, Ann Brannack. Ethel is one of two children of the Skakels who is alive, the other one being born in 1933.
well, it was probably hard for her with all those children...My Father lived near them and would see tents up in their yard in McLean (Hickory Hill) and it was said she would get mad at her sons and kick them out and they would live in tents on the property..
@@dalialule6324 Ethel was known for slapping the hired help when she got mad, and would physically attack other people's children when they were out on ski trips to Aspen.
she took orders from Rose. joe kennedy had an affair with Gloria swanson and in her book, rose pretty much said it didn't happen. (he picture was in all the papers when he took swanson to the Oscars). after the pictures came out, she tried to leave him and go back home but her father told her to keep her marriage together. Ethel is never going to talk about Bobby and Marilyn. she does not want to remember it. I don't blame her.
God Bless Ethel, She's been through so much, and she is so strong and a Great Lady!

I love you Mrs Ethel Kennedy you are a inspiring lady God will take care of you too the end of time!! God Bless you and you Family 🙏🏾🙏🏾💕💕💕💕
Always thought she was the strength behind Bobby and her children! She is probably the strongest of them all!!
People in her generation were very strong people.
What an incredibly strong woman! I found this documentary so entertaining, she's incredible

I just watched the miniseries called "The Kennedy's", I realize it was depicted by actors, but she was my favorite character. What a cool person.
She is an incredibly private and humble person. A real gem. Her daughter, on the other hand, is a documentarian and is promoting a film.
Rory looks exactly like Bobby.
Rory Kennedy Looks exactly like her father.

Love it. Your fans. Thank you. xox
she was quite beautiful younger!
Ether might be a little more shy too just from being older and more reserved as you get older. Rory seems confident and mature in her thoughts.
Should have ask what are her feelings on Norma jean Baker--now that would have been a documentary
iceaxe56 Hilarious 😂
Rory looks just like Caroline ??!!??
I always thought Ethel was a beautiful woman, Bobby and Jack married extremely beautiful women.
Por favor, traducirlo en Español,me parece interesante la vida de esta señora,😹y los Kennedy... Gracias

How do you know all this stuff??? Did you work on the ski patrol?
My cousin worked for Ethel shortly after RFK died and said Ethel was not a very nice person and that she seemed to ignore her children
well, it was probably hard for her with all those children...My Father lived near them and would see tents up in their yard in McLean (Hickory Hill) and it was said she would get mad at her sons and kick them out and they would live in tents on the property..
The woman was in shock and grieving
Im not shocked.
@@robyn7465 omg. How terrible. Ethels a bitch.

Ethel not that nice
why?
Veronicanne Bergstrand she’s a strong woman
She was not beyond physically assaulting others who upset her, which was not hard to do at all.
Why is Rory talking so much? Can't Ethel speak for herself?
She cant speak. A good catholic woman stays quite.

Let Ethel speak!!!!! So annoying
Nothing interesting here
