Hi Ed, it was me that rode with you around Knutsford and the AA phonebox…..etc! Haven’t watched all of both videos yet, but will do soon. Congratulations on completing your epic journey and great to have met you😊. All the best for your future adventures 👍, Martin
Martin!!! Great to hear from you, and when you get to part 2 you'll see you have a cameo appearance! The directions you left me with were spot on 😆. I enjoyed your company for the morning. Best wishes to you too my friend 👍 Ed
I just met ED in downtown Inverness - on the High Street, told me he’s wild tenting in the Great Glen, by Kingussie in minus 15 Celsius!!! Crikey!, Now that’s a Real man! Bless him! Told him he’s looking Hale and Hearty no any worse for wear! He’s in Inverness- The Capital of the Highlands out of more wild weather - Storm Issa tonight. The bike was in good shape too! All the very best ED, Cheeri, Ruairidh
What a good man! Twas great talking to you today. I see we are swapping -15 for 75 mile an hour winds tonight. You Scots are a seriously hardy breed - never fail to be impressed. I thank you for your good wishes , they will keep me going till the (near) end. 👍👍
Oh! Forgot to warn you ED, keep an eye out for any wild Haggis, it’s that time of year, they get a wee bit unpredictable ahead of Burn’s Night 25th January! 👀 Ruairidh
Came for the route and stayed for the humour. Great vids and well delivered. Subscribed
Good man, thanks for sticking with the long videos, and thanks even more for commenting. Ed
I like the honest commentary and it’s a real personal achievement. You’re crazy going in winter! Will def watch to see you complete your expedition
Awesome! Thank you!
well done Ed, an enjoyable watch so far. It's the 4pm tent time that stops me from being out in the winter, fair play!
Cheers! Actually, going to sleep at 5pm is growing on me (and underrated 😆)
Chapeau to you. I'm on the turbo training and it is -5 if the roof were leaking it would be virtual reality.
This made me laugh 😆
Funny film, and that moment when you realise your legs have pedalled you all the way to Scotland - magic! 👍🏻
Ha thanks for the feedback. You are right it did suddenly dawn on me that I was getting somewhere 😆
I really enjoyed watching this great video, well done and good luck😊
Nice one, thanks for commenting.

Wow, congratulations Ed, what an achievement, really enjoyed watching your journey!
So glad, thanks Gemma 💗
Yes, going downhill on ice does sound a mite dangerous and scary. Great play to keep going despite the odds Ed!
Only fell off once, which is a miracle to be honest!
Looking forward to part 3 - at least the weather imrpoved 😁
-15 last week.
Now 2 named storms in 3 days.
I love Scotland 🤣🤣
Making a note: Forest of Bowland.
That looked and sounded wonderful.
It certainly is. One of my favourite parts of the World.

Burn’s Night 25th January! 👀 Ruairidh
That might have explained the rustling outside of my tent last night 🤣
You are an amazing person doing it in Winter but all that ice and the danger it poses would put most right off doing this in Winter.
I appreciate you saying that. I guess that’s why I like winter. No one else is doing it, and it’s a completely different perspective.
