No winning elevens/PESs but having FIFAs? 🤨 It is almost unanimous among the soccer video game fans community that during the PS1 and PS2 era, the Winning Eleven/PES games crumbled FIFA games with no mercy. PES was astronomically superior, especially in the PS1 era. In the PS2 era, FIFA improved a lot and managed to keep up, despite PES still being much superior, it much more balanced compared to the gap between the two in the PS1 era. FIFA only became superior in the PS3/Xbox 360 era beyond
i wasn't a fan of football games, but i've only played both old (meaning many psx), middle (ps2), and modern (ps4) fifa games, and mobile Real Football games. PSX were unplayable for me (although i love psx overall), ps2 era was mediocre, and i had some fun with more modern ones. But recently i've checked Winning Eleven 2002 and i was BLOWN AWAY with how amazing it is. Much better for me than even modern fifa games. It's so smooth, and feels so natural while still keeping a bit of arcade. Animations have so much soul in them, and the gameplay systems are much more engaging. I was suprised how incredibly well the game looked and run (especialy in comparison to fifa on psx), and how they managed to avoid any problems with collision detection. WE 2002 unlike fifa isn't just centered around players animation, but rather around the ball (can't find a way to describe it better, in fifa you almost feel like you are limmited by animations, while here they never get into your way). Also the opponents seems to be smarter, and there are many fancy passes and shots, which makes the game have that much more style. Awesome game, easy 10/10 for me, and i haven't even watched a single full real life match.
Man have you ever played Winning Eleven 2002 on psx? Comparing it to psx fifa games (or even ps2 fifa games to a point), is like comparing whole different generations. It's really awesome game, period. No stupid getting used to "old" gimmicks and problems, just an awesome game that for me can rival modern fifa games. And i have zero nostalgia for it because i discovered it like two months ago, and haven't played any PES games other than that (same series, just an early name).
Madden 2001 is a PS2 game repackaged into the PS1. Might as well go with Madden 2004 for the ps1 if that's the case. You showed the PS2 version of Smackdown. This is either Rage bait or very poorly thought out or you literally made a video of the only 17 games you own. If there's even 17 here. I am not going to count but definitely wouldn't be surprised if it was 16.

The Smackdown footage shown is from the later PS2 games, low effort list, low effort video.
