    i got a 2nd $20 foam cannon strictly for brake buster. i leave brake buster in it 60/40 dilution and sometimes full strength and its 10x faster to apply to wheels. you would think it would blow through product to fast but it doesn't oddly. gets in those barrels fast and deep. i don't know if it hurts the foaming mesh in the cannon so i take of the top and shoot water through it before i store on shelf.

      Keep in mind that when you use a foam cannon, water still mixes with the solution in the reservoir and will further dilute your intended mixture. But if whatever you're doing is working for you, then no worries!

      @@HaiTran your are correct. I ended up not adding water to reservoir to get better results on mixture. Oddly I haven't tried it strait. Next wash I'm trying just a spray bottle. Cheers!

    I’ve been using brake buster for awhile and it’s my go to wheel cleaner. I rarely use it diluted in the IK Foamer anymore. The foam is cool but I prefer to use it undiluted because I like seeing the dirt and grime break down before I contact wash. Great video as usual my man!

    • @HaiTran

      I personally have moved away from the foamer too. For me, it just takes a lot of extra time. Also, I think the product works better undiluted.

      Undiluted ftw... the gallon is so economical and you have wheel & tire cleaner with just 1 product

    Nice video! Got my ik foamer and brake buster today. Got it diluted 1:5 aswell and gave me good thick foam. I washed the tyres with a big brush and the wheels with some small detailing brush. Did a good job.
    Before i was using surfex hd 1:10. Which was very good to in cleaning the tires. But it didn't had much foam so dried out a bit quicker..

    Does the brake dust cleaning only last a few days ?

    • @HaiTran

      That depends on your driving/environmental conditions.

    Rusty brake rotors ? What do you do?

    • @HaiTran
      @HaiTran  Год назад

      Depends on what kind of rust we’re talking about. Most common surface rust disappear when you brake. Then more builds up when the car sits.

    Thanks for the vid I have always used megs wheel brightener stuff is def not good to breath in so I ordered this and will try it 50/50 in a cannon. We shall see. Have you used this on an engine bay?

    • @HaiTran
      @HaiTran  3 года назад

      I have not used it in the engine bay. I have all purpose cleaner for that so no point using this.

      @@HaiTran I was thinking the rust inhibitors for metal areas may be a bonus hyper dressing doesn't last long in an engine bay even at 1:1.

    • @HaiTran
      @HaiTran  3 года назад

      I don't have anything to add here. I barely clean my engine bay and only do it when it gets pretty bad.

    ncie review Hai. Since you are in the P&S ecosystem, can you try out P&S beadmaker?

    • @HaiTran
      @HaiTran  4 года назад

      Unfortunately, it’s very unlikely that I’ll review Beadmaker unless someone else pays for it. It’s just not a product that I’m interested in. I personally have no interest in a product that provides short term protection and requires regular reapplication, especially when it’s not a particularly fast application process.
