Your sign turned out really cool! I have a question and I'm pretty sure it is a dumb one 🤣 I'm just a crafter, home decor and some furniture redos. Can you use these stencils with regular paint...like chalk paint, acrylic paint and fabric paint?
Not a dumb question at all I’d say most of these stencils should work just fine. The high detail is hard to capture with a paint brush and airbrush does a smoother job. Some of your thicker paints won’t get in the small detailed areas of the stencil, but the larger detail templates will work just fine with, your acrylic and chalk and fabric paints. You could always use an airbrush with acrylic, water-based paints, and it probably would work best on your crafts.
Im 45 now and just purchased my first kit. However my late uncle, basically a father figure since mine has been out for a pack of smokes for 45 years now, he should be back any minute. Anyhow, my uncle used to brag about my artist gift i guess and told me from 15 years old to just try out an air brush and see where you can go. I have only ever placed the value of sanctuary on my art and use it basically as a coping mech. Im filled with regret that i waited until he was gone to do so, and with all of the information you and others like you give away as seeds to others i am dedicated to become as good as you and then make my first real piece in memory of the one man who went out of his way for me in my youth. Better late than never i suppose.
