Great video Deb, I loved the mittens. I am going to make some. My favorite part of Christmas used to be spending time with family. Now that everyone is all grown up and scattered all over the country, we rarely get together all at the same time,, but when we do it is a grand time.
I love getting together with my family. Yes, everyone is scattered so we don't get to spend much time together so it's special when we do get together!

And they can be made with felt or paper too!
I remember one we couldnt be with my grandparents one year for Christmas so we kept thinking they would come to us or we would go to them but work didn't let it happen so the UPS truck showed up in July with a big huge box there was 5 kids mom and dad's gifts in there😊

Looking forward to making a few of these. My mom gave me a little pillow ( I still have) for Christmas more than 55 years ago with my name stitched into it. I understand how the memories of those handmade gifts is so important. Thanks for the video.
both of my parents are gone so memories hit me hard at the most unexpected times. Glad you liked the mittens!
My favourite part is Christmas Day when the family all get together for Christmas dinner. It’s always at my house and sometimes there are twenty plus people which can be a challenge to get everyone seated and sometimes the table is made up of several tables all pushed together. It’s a fun day, a bit chaotic with good food, drink and good company.
Your memory touched my heart. I miss my brothers, sister and mom and dad being together on Christmas day.
