An incredible amount of work must have gone into this. Not only do they one-shot every monster but they do it in a way that the damage is always just enough to kill them. Well done!

@@nonaG123 couldnt have been intentional so im guessing they did it several times trying to hit different spots and everything else they could to pull it off but just couldnt
not only that he must have walked in and out of quest a million times since all of them are the smallest size= the least amound of hp the monster can have possible

I've only ever one-shot the great jaggi, in Portable 3rd, to see if it was possible. It's insane just how much is possible in Rise
I think the most satisfying part is that the head breaks as it dies. I had it happen once when I was farming parts and it was amazing to get extra parts because of that

I like to think that for a split-second before impact, the monsters sense the impending aura of death.
Also that there are legends of a hunter that 1-shots every monster because they made a pact with a demon.
This is now head cannon for me, especially about the legendary hunter. Thanks !
I noticed that with the way the damage calculation works out on the right side (when he uses TCS *not* TCS Power or Rage Slash) the Sharpness, C. Boost, Sleep, TCS and Charge all multiply out to about 10×
(1.32 × 1.4 × 2.0 × 2.11 × 1.3 = 10.14)
So on the one he uses True Charge, it's pretty easy to do the quick math before the hit lands. (Total Attack × [Weakpoint × 10])
And I just found that a fun little maths exercise, gets the brain moving

_P.S. For anyone trying to do the predictions for fun: It's 7.9× when using Rage Slash and 12.7× when using TCS and hitting something with the first strike!_

Pushing the sleeping jaggi into position for the first hit of true charge slash was brutal even for your standards. I think you’ve taken it too far with that. It was the first time I actually felt bad for a monster lol

I'll be honest. At the end when I saw Bulfango I kinda lost interest, but that lack of interest made the 8500 damage hit that much more impactful. Good job guys

Is it possible to cut the tail in one hit? Since it deals a lot of damage to the monster. Or will the monster die first before the tail cutting animation?

If u notice in the magnamalo fight he broke a part so yes u could most likely cut a tail off
I've already seen a couple great sword builds out that will cut tails with only one or two hits
Yeah it possible, I forgot who did it but there's a video about it
Because of how a lot of tail cuts work, most monsters with a weak spot on the tail can’t have it sliced in one shot. It was demonstrated with Almudron, who like many monsters with a tail cut, has a break before the cut. So with one hit, it can only break the tail, not cut it. Unfortunately.

Some of those numbers are close enough to question whether they made the Health Values off of theoretical maximum damage or some weird stuff

How come it sometimes says “hunted” instead of “slain?”
The game will say the monster is slain if it isn't the target. Say for example, on an expedition tour where you have no target other than whatever you decide on. Where as the game says hunted when a large monster is the target for the quest.
