I’m currently trying to figure out how to play this in smart music, and I just have to say: How does anyone shift that fast??? Well, actually this school year was the first time I actually did shifting, so maybe I’m just bad at it. It’s such a cool song, though!
Is it abnormal to learn this song in the 6th grade? I did. I'm looking back wondering how I pulled something like that off. I'm in the 9th grade an can barely play Bach's sonata 6 or 7. Edit: Keep in mind I played it almost perfectly in 6th with only 2 years of experience.
SushiDip well, the difficulty with this piece (in my opinion) isn’t in the notes being played, or the tempo, or intonation or any of that. It’s getting the expression just right, well, that’s how it is for most pieces.
It kind of does! I’m listening to it at x2 speed right now. For some reason, sped up orchestra songs are really funny to me. I listened to all of my current orchestra songs at x2 speed, and it was great. Especially the ones that were already fast.
I'm not saying you are, but don't get frustrated with people calling it a song. They have their own interpretations, realizations, and experiences so we should always embrace those voices and teach them such conventions rather than condemn them and turn them away from such beautiful music. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.
I'm sorry I've been really inactive lately. Here's three videos in a row to make up for it. I'll try and post more regularly.
Leave suggestions below!
could you do some more baroque/classical period pieces(if yes, that would be great) like the Turkish March you uploaded a while ago?

Then tell me: is it abnormal to play the full 4 seasons by Vivaldi, no arrangements, in 7th grade?
🍪🍪🍪
If you play this at x2 speed, it sounds like a mix between a jazz concert and a fever dream. Huh.
Huh, maybe I should upload the actual piece Fever Dream lol.
Saying something sounds like jazz is not a compliment
Omg it does
