3:54 these wall jumps are so simple (relative to the rest of 7b at least) but they're so extremely satisfying to see done this cleanly 😍 and with zero hesitation either. You can probably do that in your sleep, you did it so cleanly!
One of my favorite parts of the level for sure as well. With enough practice I'm pretty sure anyone could do those jumps as smoothly. I did when I got 7bg abt 2 years ago

7B is the single hardest part of the base game, nothing else actually comes close. I was expecting 8B to be harder, but honestly after 7B everything else (including all the C-side goldens) were quickly finished. Still have yet to get the Chapter 9 golden unfortunately
8B actually took me way longer, I definitely found it more difficult. Chapter 9 seems a lot easier than I first thought it would be, but the best I've managed in practise was something like 30 deaths.

As someone who consistently died in 3k for ages, I can confirm it takes a toll. Deaths that late into the run are by far the worst - and the worst part is the stress it puts you on the *next* time you make it to 3k.
It's actually not a wavedash, it's a hyperdash. The difference is that a wavedash starts in the air and a hyperdash starts on the ground. Otherwise the inputs are the same

I literally did 7c golden raspberry in like 2 minutes or so after around 10 attempts and i still can't do 7bg the difference in difficulty between these is too weird for me
