This game is one of several vague memories from my early childhood and I’m surprised I haven’t forgotten about it. I especially remembered the boss fights. Some of those freaked me out when I first saw it.
Another fantastic Taito Hanna Barbera platformer, and a surprisingly original one. If you ever liked the show as a kid, you'll thoroughly enjoy this game!
+Diamond Longplays When he is hanging, you can make him jump slightly sideways, or let go while holding the direction you want to go and immediately hit up and the vacuum button again. You can shuffle along that way, but any slip and he'll fall since the vacuum will only pull him back up if it's close enough to the ceiling
just found out this game was localized for the Japanese audience, Yokai Buster. usually its vice versa that happens coincidentally that's similar to the name of one of the spinoff games from Yokai watch
I find it odd they localized it into that, when the NES game was also released in Japanese. I guess what happened was that they couldn't get the license to the series in Japan to make a game, or the NES version sold poorly in Japan, leading them to reskin it as another game.
It was made by Taito, the same Japanese developer that did the Lufia series. They're part of Square-Enix now. Most Hanna-Barbera games back in the day were made by Taito.
You don't see much from them anymore, but I do seem to remember them being taken over by Square. I do have the Dariusburst PS4 game that they put out not too long ago, and it's completely incredible. They still have the magic, or so it seems going by that.
Fun Fact: Zora is a whitewashed version of a Skata-Hara, an African American villianess from the episode "Space Bong" where George is mistaken for a Super Spy The Reason No One Remembers is because it's from Season 2, and hardly anyone knows such a thing exists

I don't understand how when you are suctioned to the ceiling like on the water level, how you are meant to jump properly without falling into a pit?

+NintendoComplete ugh yeah i tried that i guess i gotta be precise thanks
Underrated snes game
@@NintendoComplete that’s awesome 👏
I like how Geroge Jetson dashes. Reminds me of Buster Bunny's from "Buster Busts Loose" and "Buster's Hidden Treasure".
And Sonic
Also reminds me of Bonkers on SNES, and a more recent example, Pizza Tower.
Classic Taito, That unmistakable Snes quality is gorgeous, the sound, and colours just ooze awesomeness 👌
Before Luigi's suction cup on his vacuum, there was George Jetson.
From Luigi's Haunted Mansion (2001)
George Jetson 0 To Death Combo Confirmed?!
yep
Imagine a 7 Grand dad like rom hack of this but George would have Luigi's head, it would probably be called something like Super 14 Grand uncle
I miss the old Taito and their classic games
the music in stage one is very nice
The music in the first level is tremendous imo
Love this game

I really need this game.
For a game about The Jetsons, this isn't bad. It looks like a good game.

Darn You, Captain Zoom!!
George is Gonna be Fired Again!!
Captain Zoom: F**k you fata** just blame Zora on it she's the entire reason George is being fired AGAIN
Aaa the music 💙
Happy Birthday George!
Trivia fact: This game appeared as a consolation prize in an episode of Legends of the Hidden Temple.
Why Wasn't Mr. Spacely in This Game?
Awesome game for sure, I love how colourful it is! It is also much easier than the NES Jetsons game IIRC.
+Mariusz Bosy Oh wow, really? I found this one a fair amount more difficult! Funny that :)
Mr spacely: JETSOOOOOOON
George Jetson: Aaaaaaaaaaaagggghhhhh!
Mr spacely: YOU, IN HERE, NOW!
I remember playing this game as a kid
Mr. Jetson is putting a vacuum on his mouth for going underwater.
8:26 George vs Magilla Gorilla
Never knew this game existed
What button activated the things that push the wall back?
Up + Y
Yo tenía el, "The Jetsons", para NES. Un plataformas chulísimo 👍👌
That victory dance though
This and adventures of Yogi bear are my favorites on the snes
George seems to do the Highland Fling every time he gets hit.
I wonder what happend with Taito nowdays

+NintendoComplete taken by Square? Great i give much to the f**ckers of Square
Taito I think still makes figures of game and anime characters. I own a Yukiko Amagi figure they put out from P4 Arena
Well taito idk... but sting (the developers of the game) stil doing videogames
And Still Making Mobile Games.
8:46 George Jetson Number One, WooHoo!!
George never did go to his job by the end of the game. I wonder if Spacely fired him later.
My first time checking this game out. Zora is fine. 😏
Where and how do I get this game?
Fun Fact: Zora is a whitewashed version of a Skata-Hara, an African American villianess from the episode "Space Bong" where George is mistaken for a Super Spy
The Reason No One Remembers is because it's from Season 2, and hardly anyone knows such a thing exists
8:45 Poor Harambe..
Holy crap. Jetson's vacuum is basically a SNES version of the Half Life gravity gun!
So this was developed by Sting Entertainment? The guy's who did Knights in the Nightmare
Underrated snes game.
Oh..shit I never knew there was a game!??

In what year the jetsons take place?

I wonder if Jet Screamer made it into the game?

@@angelbeas9137 damn! Too bad.

You missed a lot of secrets.
my score is 132580 without lose a life

Was Judy adopted by George and Jane Jetson because none of them have white hair?
