Cosori Pro II 5.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer. I love making salmon. I like to salt my fillet overnight, and then when I’m ready to enjoy I preheat to 400 degrees. While it’s preheating, I sprinkle some garlic powder onto the salmon and coat it in mayonnaise. I airfry it for 7-9 minutes. It’s so delicious and moist and the mayo browns a little for a “baked salmon sushi” vibe 🤤

Josh hating on air fryers and talking about them as if it was a sin to use them in a kitchen, meanwhile he always tells his audience to use a rice cooker. Seems a little hypocritical to me...
It's actually worse than hypocritical. In terms of involvement, a rice cooker does 95% of the work for you. A slow cooker about 80%. An air fryer, at best 50%. You still have to know what mode, temperature, timing, and basket arrangement for an air fryer, or you will absolutely destroy your food. This takes time an expertise. A rice cooker literally requires you to dump rice into bin, add water, turn on, then take a nap.
As a chef he should be open to new techniques. I'm not really a fan of air fryers but I used one and for some things it's great. Maybe the name air fryer is the problem, let's call it frire à l'air.
He does hate cause he likes to have control and do every little thing from suaves to buns, to pastas etc. He loves every step of the cooking process so he doesn’t really care about speeding it up, plus he is a professional chef. And if anyone sees the full video he admits that air fryers are good tools for family and they have an use in the kitchen, it’s just not for him
I mean rice cookers just do that. Cook rice. It's essentially an electric pot. Meaning from the cheapest one to the most expensive, it does the same thing. Not all air fryers are made the same.
Josh is kinda a shit like that. Considering one fo his most popular series is making better food then fast foods U know, quick food for masses, where he uses black garlic and Marian row salt or something
The Dual Blaze™ 6.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer would be sooo cool to have, and honeslty mainly for the space to cook even MORE AIR FRYER FOOD. I've been on a recent kick of making homemade Mc-chickens in the airfryer. Get some chicken, food process that bad boy, season it up, bread as normal, flour -> Egg -> breadcrumbs (I use a little both normal and panko), then airfry. Put that juicy thing on a bun with some kewpie mayo and lettuce and boom, you really got yourself a meal. (Plus ALOT healthier than the alternative!)

You are one of my absolute favorite channels!! I have been wanting an air fryer for awhile and haven’t gone through with a purchase just yet, but the Cosori lite 4.0-quart smart air fryer looks awesome in white! I’d love to try classic wings and also salmon in the air fryer 😊
Chefs use "air fryers" all the time. They're called convection ovens, they're staples in most every decent kitchen.
@@EthanHunt-zr7vhnewer convection ovens aren’t that large and take a surprising short amount of time to heat up. Of course with the added benefit they’re not laced with crappy chemicals to cook on, unlike air fryers
Convection ovens don’t have a preheat time, by nature of convection
The thing that bothered me about that video was him destroying a perfectly fine fryer.
Funny thing is that this short is next to Josh's short in my subscriptions page.
Same!
Totally agree - Josh lost me at making dyslexic jokes which my dyslexic girlfriend was...unimpressed with, and clearly he's gone downhill since then. It's just childish.
OMG! My airfryer is my best friend! I use it EVERY DAY! It's my favorite toy in the kitchen!
What a thoughtless waste that was! I can imagine so many people that would have appreciated that airfryer so much! I will not enter the drawing for a new airfryer as much as I would like one because I have the means to buy a new one when my current Phillips bites the dust-which will be soon as I use it on the DAILY! I hope someone wins that would not be able to buy one. AND, SHAME ON JOSH for such a needless waste!
I need to add, that whoever invented the airfryer is my savor, hero, and a saint!
Are u still giving away cos pro fryers?
Going to university soon and you've inspired me to cook more often so I would love a Cosori 5.8 quart to bring with me (I literally have a list of recipes in my head to try when I'm at university)! As someone who loves baking, I would definitely try making loafs/bread/pies like your banana bread experiment in the air fryer.
Josh doesn’t care about home cooks, he cooks for his ego

@@empty1724 don't you know that an impingement oven is just a really big air fryer?
Considering one fo his most popular series is making better food then fast foods
U know, quick food for masses, where he uses black garlic and Marian row salt or something
I only have a very cheap air fryer and man, I love it! It's improved my meals so much ❤
Josh got SOOOO cringe over the last year or two.
That’s crazy! I honestly just stopped watching him about a year ago I decided I’m never gonna make any of his shit with all his random ass ingredients u gotta buy online

Brah...he's been cringe for a lot longer than that
He was waaay "cringe"-ier before, I can only stand watching him now because he includes other personalities into the videos.
Wow that's a shame he did that. I'm a disabled veteran and air fryers help me make food more accessible. I've been wanting to make some air fryer lime shrimp but haven't been brave enough yet.
The cosori lite 4.0 quart smart looks so cool, especially in the green shade! 💚 Thanks for restoring the balance.
Your videos got me through COVID glad to see you’re still going.
The Lite 4.0-Quart Smart Air Fryer looks lovely in green. Used to think air fryers weren't all that either but watching you use it has changed my mind, and I've been wanting one for some time now, so.. 🤞🏼😁

The voice of reason. I like it.
Good on you for truly exposing what good home cooking can do. Thank you!

the Pro II 5.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer would be great for my kitchen, as a student my usual kitchen workspace is fairly small for the number of people using it, so this would allow me to cook things like salmon with teriyaki sauce, or your air fryer fries recipe on a regular basis when the kitchen is full.

I have been wanting an air fryer for a while now. I love the idea of being able to warm up leftovers in it and cooking veggies in it without turning on the whole oven and wasting a bunch of energy. My air fryer has been broken for some time, so this is exciting! I love making homemade “chips” using fresh made and boiled pasta noodles - just gotta crisp them up in the air fryer! I latched onto this idea once I had my kid and, without giving up my love for snacks, wanted to find an option that wasn’t quite as unhealthy. The seasoning usually is about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of each of the following
Chili powder
Cayenne
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Smoked paprika (always smoked)
Cumin
Salt
We usually do about a half pound of pasta for this. Throw it in the air fryer preheated to 400F and cook for about 10 min
