Bern all the Disney ships have actual horns (there’s video of them using their horns in a Magic vs Dream video in Castaway Cay) but you are correct that as far as the songs go the larger ships use speakers.
@@jricha-ir3zh no this is black I know black painted ships when I see them this is black painted Holland America line has there ships painted navy blue it looks black but then the reflection of Alaskan waters from icebergs show it’s a pretty blue color.
Um actually the Disney ships are painted to look like Mickey Mouse they even requested the lifeboats to be bright yellow because the maritime law states they be orange

The fantasy is the third ship built, while the dream is the newest ship, and they decided to give it more Disney songs, while all the other ships, including the magic (first built), the wonder (second built), and the fantasy (third built) just have the one tune. All the ships are fun and will have a great experience to enjoy. I myself have been on the Wonder twice and will be going on another cruise next year on one of the newer ships. I believe Disney is the best way to go when going on a cruise. These Cruises are the time of your life!

We went on the Fantasy April 7 for 7 days in the Western Caribbean. We didn't encounter another Disney ship, therefore never heard the entire horn tune list, not even in Castaway Cay. Rats! (We ate at Remy's, too) Guess we'll have to go again and again until we hear them all. Have been on the Magic & Fantasy...both unique. Fantasy is an engineering marvel for all ages.
Magic and Wonder were built with real horns; being the first two ships, it’s understandable why they couldn’t play multiple songs. Unfortunately it’s unlikely that they will have their musical horns updated.

Its actually a custom blue, they were going for the classic ocean liner look but black paint is more heavier which would cost more $$$$ on fuel.

On the magic class it’s a button inside a Mickey symbol and the Dream class use a Digital screen that has the horns in a row.
