I actually just found your channel yesterday and I have spent a lot of time watching your vids since then. All I can say is THANK YOU! You have great tutorials. Everything is explained thoroughly. I have wanted to get into digital planning and have a few apps, trying to figure out the easiest and most user friendly. I have had no luck for almost a year and almost gave up…until yesterday. I have spent so much time watching other vids/shorts and everyone speeds through everything. Your vids have given me renewed hope. I have learned more in one day about GoodNotes and how to use it than I have in watching all the others’ vids in all this time. Keep up the great work and thank you again. Definitely subbed.

I have version 6 and have found the Shapes tool to be sufficient for drawing straight lines, however the Ruler can come in handy for precisely-measured lines so it’s a nice addition! I soo love the freedom of writing in digital pen now that I could almost never go back to traditional Paper (unless I had to)! I still have some paper & ball-point pens ;).
I just adore your videos! They are well done and very informative. You have a pleasant and calming voice which is nice when you are trying to learn something new. I hope that wasn't too personal. Hah Please keep making content like this!
I paid twice for my goodnotes one for iPad and one for the iPhone so i can sync. I do not have the arrange option or the Doppler in the upper right to match a color into hex. What version is this? I have paid goodnotes 6 for iPad.
can you tell me how to Draw like a sinusoidal waveform .... ps I am a engeneering student and there was a option for this in the cola note but not in good notes 6
Thank you so much! Do you know if there is a grouping feature in Goodnotes? I'm also looking for a feature that will keep my last layer from being selected when I use the lasso on an image that has been placed over it. I hope that makes sense! I appreciate you taking the time to keep us learning!
Np! There isn’t a grouping feature but you could use the lasso tool to group things together and I wish there was a layer locking feature. If you are trying to move an image on an image use the photo tool it will only select the one on top. I hope that makes sense, if not let me know and I can do a short on it

What pencil are you using in this video as it doesn't look like the apple pencil. Seems to have a nicer tip on it.
It’s an Apple Pencil I changed the tip to a pen like one from Amazon
