I can explain my process below: 1) I reported to the nearest police station 2) then with that report number i went to Toronto police headquarters toronto 3) within 2 weeks i mailed to consulate general of india Toronto via mail id I got from google 4) the police report I reverted back from consulate 5) I arranged all the documents that mentioned in the video 6) I visit the BLS Toronto by walk-in (securities need to be let us in once they understood our need) 7) I submitted my documents after editing errors . Hii, when i file my police report then they give me case number. So now i am wondering from where i can get my original police report for lost passport.
Hii. When u have the report number. U should go to consulate general india and they’ll advice you to send an email to someone and then you have to email the police officer that you filed complaint to and ask him to make and send you the hard copy of the report.
They even sent me to the headquarters when i didn’t receive the hard copy of the report. But there they told me that within 10 days i’ll get the hard copy of report and can go to consulate. But when i received it and went to consulate general, they told me there was no need to come here and i should go to BLS now

When I submit my application for TRV, a message appears which says that you have entered different value for for the following: 1. Country of the nationality of your passport 2. passport - Country of Issue The message says that these two answers need to match. _ My first answer for the first point is IND, and the second answer is CAD. Hello Aravind 1) it's up to you if you want to have Canadian address as printable address or Indian address printable. If you have a permanent address in Canada, then you can use Canadian Address otherwise use Indian address as it was on old passport. 2) You can call IRCC and explain your situation. Hi, I sent the documents to BLS Brampton on September 25th, who then forwarded them to the consulate general in Toronto on October 3rd. On October 6th, the consulate general requested police verification from the police station in India. Finally, on October 20th, I received my new passport by postal delivery.
Actually I lost my passport on September 9, so l reported it to the nearby police station and received a case report number on September 11. I was unaware of what to do. Then, I watched this RUclips channel for guidance and gathered all the necessary documents. I called the consulate general in Toronto. The staff there were nice. If you need further guidance just call them... okey... Everything gonna fine.
So for BLS, we have to submit the whole report, right? And how many days does it take to get the report from India, or is it like we can just show them the receipt that we got from Police station to BLS, as I have already reported to the police station for a full report on October 10th, but still I haven't gotten any mail from them regarding the full report.

Ask the police station to directly mail it to consulate general of india. Check BLS intenational website FAQ section or application form FAQ and you’ll see the same question there. The answer is straight. You need original report and you have to pay for it. If they are not willing to do that, ask them to directly mail it to consulate. If still they create problem, keep visiting them and meet their supervisor to make understand the sensitivity of the situation.
We did file a report. But they gave us a slip with the file no and when we asked if we could have a copy of the report,they mentioned that as per law they do not give reports. Is the file no enough

Then you need to prepare your application and submit to nearest center if they accept in person applications.

you can provide your phone bill and bank statement as address proof. You should provide a copy of your status in Canada .

I lost my passport and it’s been 10 days I reported to the police
Hi, I sent the documents to BLS Brampton on September 25th, who then forwarded them to the consulate general in Toronto on October 3rd. On October 6th, the consulate general requested police verification from the police station in India. Finally, on October 20th, I received my new passport by postal delivery.
Actually I lost my passport on September 9, so l reported it to the nearby police station and received a case report number on September 11. I was unaware of what to do. Then, I watched this RUclips channel for guidance and gathered all the necessary documents. I called the consulate general in Toronto. The staff there were nice. If you need further guidance just call them... okey... Everything gonna fine.
So for BLS, we have to submit the whole report, right? And how many days does it take to get the report from India, or is it like we can just show them the receipt that we got from
Police station to BLS, as I have already reported to the police station for a full report on October 10th, but still I haven't gotten any mail from them regarding the full report.
If we will renew the passport will we get the same passport no. As pervious one or completely new passport no.?
You will get new passport with new no. and expiry date.

It's better if you give your recent number which is working. They won't contact you but in case if they need it so better to have handy contact that they can reach out to you.

Check bls website for current update but generally it takes 6-8 weeks.

Hi bro. I have few questions 1. My passport is damaged, so do I need to send it to bls with new application. 2. On my old passport it’s my parents home address and now I am married and my adhar card address has been changed so do I need to modify my address or I can still use the old one.
I would recommed you to call BLS customer representative, as per my understanding you can still use old address, but please very with BLS.

Ask the police station to directly mail it to consulate general of india. Check BLS intenational website FAQ section or application form FAQ and you’ll see the same question there. The answer is straight. You need original report and you have to pay for it. If they are not willing to do that, ask them to directly mail it to consulate. If still they create problem, keep visiting them and meet their supervisor to make understand the sensitivity of the situation.

We did file a report. But they gave us a slip with the file no and when we asked if we could have a copy of the report,they mentioned that as per law they do not give reports. Is the file no enough

@Make It Simple they told me to re submit the form mark it as damaged and in re issue reason under change in existing personal particular select other and mention the reason as DAMAGED WITH THE VALIDITY EXPIRATION PURPOSE and I have sent the form again to BLS on email. I don't think you can do it, BLS works as per Jurisdiction. You can double verify by calling to BLS customer service.
