Pin 6 was a pin in pin with an internal spring bonded inside, however before sending it out I forgot to re-add the inner portion of the pin that interacts with that internal spring, but it's all good, still a fully functional pin just different than originally intended. I'd say it's really practice. There is a thing called the jiggle test that you do. Basically you are trying to feel if you pin is binding or if you can feel the key pin move then hit spring tension or if it's just jammed up. I'd say check out my beginner series and maybe get a cutaway lock. Those can help you see what your feeling. I would stay away from clear locks because they have their own feel
