I love those two young Innu guys. Supremely competent, quiet, funny. And I would be VERY leery of eating anything whose shelf life went farther than my own. The scientists ( all guys. Wow.) were obviously Canadian. Funny, hard working, real lifers. Rick, this is your gift to us all; showing us our fellow Canadians in all their glory.
'....I may have lost the drone.' Stay you Rick. Stay you. I loved this show so much growing up, there really isn't anything close to it now that I can compare it to especially on Canadian TV. Yeah, some of it was about politics and some of those rants really hold up over time but it was mixed in with a sketch show about the absurdity of life and media and it had some really great segments that showcased people and places from all over Canada in a way that was warm, and funny and never made fun of the people in it. Rick was gracious enough to let himself be the butt of the joke and allow people to see and experience how culturally diverse and full of interesting things Canada is and inspire both kids and adults to want to visit all these places. I wish we had something like this now.
I always worry about your crazy uninsured adventures then I found out they just CGI you into them! ;P BTW congrats on your Blackberry sponsorship! 6:13
The "host" was so horribly irreverent and such a chump I couldn't watch past the first minute. Let's make jokes about the death of hundreds of men! No thanks.
Going to miss you Rick Mercer Report
I came here after watching The Terror season 1. Man! I had tears rolling....

The Innu live in Labrador, we are Inuit(plural), or inuk(singular), just to clarify

The canned laughter is lame.
