If you were a high achiever and always striving to get top grades, your life at U of T would certainly be very hard, understandably. You may see how these students would spend almost all their time at the library esp. around the finals just to get to the top 5-10% of their entire course. Though the bearing of top grades might not seem that weighty to enter grad schools which I realized later, the stress to getting as many distinctions still whips these students every single day throughout the terms.
Hello Richard! I have a question about scholarships. I am in grade 12 and have been accepted to both UTSC and st George. When do students begin to receive the many scholarships from the awards profile (such as faculty awards, academic merit etc)? Do you receive them when you’re accepted? Is it sometime after that? If you have some experience winning them, could you tell me WHEN you did between your acceptance letter and starting in September? Thanks!✨
Hi Richard! I wanted to ask you if there is a disadvantage to accepting your offer of admission to uoft later compared to other ppl (aka very close to the May 1st deadline). I am waiting on 2 other universities that I expect will send out offers in late April, but I am worried that I won’t get the residence or courses that I would like if I accept my offer much later than other students. Is this true?
Hi Richard han this would be my probably 5th time asking this question and I have not yet got a response from you. My question is :- Do transfer students get any scholarships in U of T ? If I transfer from my university to University of Toronto. Will I get any kind of scholarships ?? Please don't ignore this question. Kindly answer it . Thanks
Hey Richard, I just wanted to ask is it true that you need at least a grade of 85% in the 11th grade so that you get accepted, cause I heard that sometimes universities require low grades but the internet shows otherwise
Depends on programs but generally speaking universities do have minimum grade required on certain courses (i.e student must score higher than X% in G12 Calculus)
Raise your hand if you got accepted to UofT (✋)
ME! I’m so excited and your channel is such a big help❤

It depends which awards & scholarships you win, but I got mine at the start of school year (September)

Probably not if youre referring to utsg. No matter how high the gpa is, it wont influence you obtaining scholarship.
