If you are watching this because you are coming to UofT check out my list of EVERYTHING you need to bring to Uni: www.amazon.ca/shop/richardhan I used my 3 years of Uni experience to make this list so I hope this helps!
Bro your videos are so helpful and I feel like I won't be so overwhelmed when I get to uni because of how much you've already explained. Thanks so much for all this advice!
This is a great suggestion, since I am not an international student my knowledge in international scholarship is weak but I will try to have someone who knows a lot about this to help me out with a video in the future. Thank you again for a great suggestion and I wish the best of luck to you in the future!
Great question, since I just finished my first year in Rotman I can only speak on behalf of first year courses but for me microeconomics (Eco 101) was the toughest. If you are a Rotman student I would highly recommend that you watch my other video "Best business school in Canada? | Everything you need to know about Rotman Commerce" ( ruclips.net/video/lT3CRZSnjEI/видео.html ). If you have any further questions please let me know and I wish the best of luck to you in the future!
Hey, thanks for the informative video, I feel like I got some good and important information out of this. I don't know if you're answering comments on this still, but if you could give a rough estimate, how fast should your typing speed be if you want to take notes on a laptop? I think I would rather type down notes as I saved up for a good laptop already and I have decently fast typing speed (roughly 70 ish wpm) and I was just wondering how fast I should be expecting to have to type to keep up. Either way, great video man, keep it up!
Hey Richard! I’m going to be joining UoT this September, and one of the main reasons I chose UoT (aside from the prestige and high level of quality education) is its study abroad program. I was wondering if you could make a video about whether you’re going to or not, why, etc.
That's a great suggestion Ethan, I will definitely try to make that video in the future. Thank you for your suggestion and if you have any further suggestions please let me know. I wish the best of luck to you in the future!
Hi Could you drop the pdf link for ECO 101 textbook Since that is the course im the most worried about. Getting familiar with its course material would be a Boon.
Great question Raghav, I would love to share the textbook files I have with my subscribers but I do not know if I am allowed to do that (copyright problems are involved when sharing a document online without the consent of an author of the book). However with that being said its very easy to find a copy of the economics textbook on google. Just type "exact textbook name. pdf" on google and you should be able to find it. I completely agree that looking over the things you will learn will help you out when you come to university. I am sorry I couldn't share the file with you but if you have any further questions please let me know. I wish the best of luck to you in the future!
Hey Richard! I have a question about the full process of getting the major and minor degrees. Do students at Rotman complete both of the degrees in 4 years, or do I have to take another 1-2 years to get the minor degree? Thanks. I asked it because I know that in Ivey Business school you have to study 5 years to get a dual degree and I want to find out about the Rotman Commerce.
Great question, so it really depends on the minor you are trying to get. You can get some minors easier than others because the courses you will have to take as a Rotman student may also qualify for the minor you are pursing (this case you won't have to take another year or two to get a minor degree). However I would highly recommend that you contact the university about this as well. I hope I was able to answer your questions and if you have any further questions please let me know. I wish the best of luck to you in the future!
Great question, however I don't know what super single dorms are. I am guessing that it's single dorms with more space and facilities but I am not too sure if that's right or if uoft even has those dorms. I would highly recommend you to reach out to uoft about this question. I am sorry that I couldn't answer your question but if you have any further questions please let me know. I wish you the best of luck in your future!
I have some weird enthusiastic feelings when i watch this video (like i'm gonna go to U of T next week :V) and hey Richard which is the most optimal accomodation choice ?
Haha I am very glad you got enthusiastic by watching my video😁👍👍! I would personally recommend living on residence just because you get to meet so many more people if you live on campus (you can also get to your classes really fast). I hope I was able to answer your questions and if you have any further questions please let me know. I wish you the best of luck in your future!
Great question, at least from my experience my dorm (New College dorm) didn't allow students to have a bike in their dorm room because they considered that as a fire hazard. So I would recommend you to contact your college about this question because every college might have different rules. I hope I was able to help a little and if you have any further questions please let me know. I wish you the best of luck in your future!
Hi I got a conditional offer from uoft since I am not done with my A levels yet. However I didn’t have to take any video interview before receiving the offer. Do you think i would be asked for one later. Thank you in advance. Your videos are making a lot of things easier for me💕
This is a very great question, so I am going to say no because of couple of reasons. First of all some dorms won't allow you to have a bike. I can tell you this because one of my friend tried to get a bike but he couldn't get it because it was considered as one of the "fire hazard" (apparently bikes are too bulky and it will cause more confusion in case of fire emergencies). Plus since all the dorm rooms are pretty small, you won't have that much space in your room if your dorm allows you to get a bike. Also Toronto has public bikes where you can borrow public bikes for a cheap price and return it at any station. So if you really need a bike I would recommend that you use the public bikes around the city. I hope I was able to answer your questions and if you have any further questions please let me know. I wish the best of luck to you in the future!
Great question, so first of all I would highly recommend that you watch my other video "How I got into University of Toronto & UBC" ( ruclips.net/video/31dreUsO2TI/видео.html ) because in this video I talk about everything you need to do in order to get accepted to uoft. Generally speaking if you show passion on what you want to study, it will give recruiters a good impression (so I think its a good idea). If you have any further questions after watching that video please let me know!
Great question, so as an AP student I can tell you that taking AP courses helped me a lot in university (so take AP courses if you can). I would highly suggest that you watch my other video "How to survive your first year at University of Toronto" ( ruclips.net/video/yi0F3l9ILuo/видео.html ) to get more information. I hope I was able to answer your questions and if you have any further questions please let me know. I wish the best of luck to you in the future!
I would be happy to answer your question but I am not too sure what you mean by “placement”. It would be fantastic if you could clarify that for me, thank you👍👍

Hi Richard, thank you for all the help
Dude! Love your content
Great Job man... Keep it up
Thank you so much, it really means a lot 😁👍
Great video! Which courses specifically in rotman did you find yourself drawing a lot?
Great question, since I just finished my first year in Rotman I can only speak on behalf of first year courses but for me microeconomics (Eco 101) was the toughest. If you are a Rotman student I would highly recommend that you watch my other video "Best business school in Canada? | Everything you need to know about Rotman Commerce" ( ruclips.net/video/lT3CRZSnjEI/видео.html ). all rotman programs are specialist programs which means you don't need to have a minor
Richard, do you know what the difference is between a single and super single in the dorms?
Great question, however I don't know what super single dorms are. If i showcase u of t my great passion for the field that i am going to choose, will this increase my chance of getting in?

Does taking Ap courses in high school matter?
