Being a Mt-15 owner I totally agree with you at some points like build quality, problem with pillion, etc. But brother some points u have mentioned for touring purpose is also right..but we actually can't complain about it because its not made for touring its for city use only.

But if u are looking for a touring bike with good looks there are options like Suzuki v-strom and some higher cc bikes, but the mileage will drop in that case. I don't have proper knowledge on it but I think those are the bikes u are looking for. Recommendation - hero xpulse 200 4v and suzuki v-strom. 250
