    Top 3 pronunciations:
    3. Arsenal started life south of the river in "Wool Widge".
    2. Arsenal played "Real Zarzagona" in the 1995 Cup Winners Cup final.
    1. Arsene Wenger managed Japanese side "Yokozuna" before landing the Arsenal job.

Anderlecht and all was butchered. Yokozuna aint even close to Nagoya Grampus Eight. Also its funny he says he is from Norwich so clearly must know how to say 'wich' in English

Crazy how their entire success is built on the fact they were the bank of england fc and then arsenal supporters have the gall to say a club like man city bought their success 🤣

  • @raphaelbarreto2486

Wenger managed Nagoya Grampus in Japan not "Yokozuna". Yokozuna is the highest rank a sumo wrestler can reach, not a football club

ngl bro u really missed a lot of the key moments in the history. Arsenal were one of the most glamorous & the most successful club in England in the 30s/40s/50s. Even the likes of Puskas was a massive Arsenal fan growing up in Hungary, during WW2, there was tons of Axis propaganda whenever an Arsenal player died as they were well known through Europe. After WW2, Arsenal was in a really really bad state financially. They almost by fluke on leicester type vibe won the league & fa cups due to Tom Whittaker just after the war but then relapsed into a depression era. They had some great players and played fun football but only really returned under George Graham. Neill, Howe even Mee really were seen as failures really.
And then in Wenger's era, you literally glanced through Sol Campbell's transfer. That was perhaps the most infamous transfer in football history, convincing the best CB in the world at that point and Tottenham's CAPTAIN nonetheless to come to Arsenal. Although I assume you're quite young so a lot of this is probably not memorable to you. (fair enough but still man c'mon!)

uhhhhh yeah mate, hate to break this to you , but its pronounced wulich not worlwhich.
I know that this is pedantic but its hard to take someone serious on a history video when they dont pronounce the location names right. Its like birmingham, you dont pronounce it bur-ming-ham you say bur-ming-um. Or for example Southwark, you dont pronounce it south-wark - its suthock.
You sound english but also a tourist at the same time.
