Hi so I want to start a manga(maybe even serialize at some point is the goal) and so where do I start, I got Araki-sensei's "Manga theory and Practice" but what else do you recomend? And do you recommend Digi or Analog for starting out?
I love your video!!! I have only one question how do you start the projects especially novels. I have a brilliant idea for my novel, but I just don't get right start like, the more I think the more my idea becomes big and just gets lost in fantazing my idea. And lost idea of writing!!
Hey Brandon, I love your stuff! But was wondering what would one do to make an anime studio? And make original anime? While still helping with animation? Ty so much!
The only way to make an anime if you’re from the west is to either move to Japan and pursue becoming an author there. Or become a massive western author( like MASSIVE) and then either show interest in the anime scene and reach out to them with a deal along with your agency. Or they reach out to you because of how big you are. Or you directly fund them with hundreds of thousands to produce it.
I didn't know that you even exist until RUclips recommended you to me. On Thursday; March 30th, 2023. At 22h03. *I'm glad it happened; this was cool!* ✌🏿
I love like all your content and since I’m both a writer and artist myself (yeah I’m one of those disgusting talented people) trying to make a career your videos are SO INSPIRING to me you don’t even realize. But I gotta say I’m bamboozled by HOW you have time to edit videos too? Any time I try make a video or reel I get a seizure because it’s time consuming and I’m meticulous asf
When publishing your works, did you contact a publisher? If so, how? How do you get contacted by one? And do you think self-publishing is better, or there are good and bad sides to both ways of publishing your works?
How do you get around language barriers in the Japanese Manga space? Do you hire translators, and generally do you translate your medias in different languages? I want to apply to a shonen jump competition, but I can’t get around the language barrier.
Yo I don't mean to be rude by asking pointlessness stupid questions but is a one shot the first thing to start with before writing a manga series? What are the barriers when it comes to writing a compelling story? What are the weaknesses when it comes to storytelling? Can one write a manga series when he has no experience?
Is it okay to draw inspiration from other manga series? Would there be any legal complications if your story may contain some similar elements to another series?
In my opinion if it's like an exact copy and paste it might cause troubles. But you can take and element out of that inspiration or add something different to it(like a different inspiration). Then it will be like a new idea. I think I got this tip from silent manga audition when they were discussing osamu tezuka and his manga making techniques.
u cant have naruto in ur story. but there's no stopping u from having a blond kid who happened to 9 tailed fox inside of him. Just cant thread the fine line of literally using someone else character / intellectual property without consent. I'm guessing.
@@siyamkesavaraj8891 I think in hirohiko araki’s “manga in theory and practice” book he did advise not to have make a main character be too similiar to another main character. “But you mustn’t simply copy another character, no matter how quintessential that character maybe. No rehash will seem refreshing. But how can you make an appealing character without imitating another?” Then he discusses about the character history sheet.
I'm an artist who is also writing my own webcomic - but I think I need some assist on the art side, like backgrounds and stuff. Are there any discords you would recommend for connecting with artists, or do you run a discord, etc??
That's a lot of works. But how will you manage to write your magnum opus If you're spreading out your creativity this much. Well...I know its possible, but damn. I'm impressed...good luck man
Q: Did you mirror the story in your manga from your life at some point? ...and how can I write an interesting story with world-building and character background details without making the story boring? Also love your work📘💚
Hey Brandon hopefully you see this,I just wanted to say I don’t think someone needs talent to do both stories and writing ,like in the manga blue period similar to the concept of talent it isn’t talent it’s hundred of hours studying concepts and putting them to practice,I’m curious to see your view on this if you respond
Why do mangaka tent to have so many health problems? I understand you work long hours, but even doctors and nurses don't so many health problems. Is it because of a lack of exercise or a bad diet in combination with the stress to meet the quotas? I'm puzzled because it's not even something that you see in journalists or western comic book writers.

How would you enter a manga contest? I make manga but I’m young so I’m not sure how to really get it out or if there are any contests

Do you have any tips on how to write or structure a script for a manga/comic?

I Mean Think About Naruto And Asta They Both Have Inner Demons But Because Their Not Both Done Exactly Alike It’s All Good

@@collinfn569voidblackairfor7 that’s a good example, the relationship of asta and the anti magic devil is clearly inspired by naruto and Kurama.

How much does it cost you approximately to pay your team? If you aren't comfortable sharing, is it very costly?

Great video. 👍
Brandon what's the writing structure for writing a manga including the scenes I have one in the works just want make sure that I did everything right
Fun fact, you can grind views in Mangalore by reviewing your manga over and over again.
Where do you get your ideas in your story character
That's a lot of works.
