Most of Little House was filmed in Arizona. That was where I met the actors and their families. Michael Landon remained my friend until his death. The Ingalls family DID lived in aa whole series of one room houses. And that tourist trap shed, would not have been one of them. The family lived in Minnesota, Missouri, and Kansas. They never lived within walking distance of a "post office." But, it's always interesting to see how easy it would be to make a tourist stop out of leftover buildings.

They lived there in Kansas for a short period of time ....its a Fact....this is near Independence, Kansas right where I show it in the Video
Plus The Real Laura Ingalls Wilder lived just East of this area in Mansfield ,Missouri until Her Death in 1957

Montgomery county Kansas....near Independence, Kansas out in the Country.
Why is it in Kansas? Shouldn't it be in Walnut Grove, Minnesota?
They lived here at this location for a few years in southeast Kansas & other places
