Cody, hands down, has been one of my biggest inspirations. From senior year of hs, I chose CS and have been planning to make money for a few years, then slowly veer into a purely creative field. I also want to backpack for at least 6 months. And I live in SoCal and really picked up surfing 2 years ago.
I was gonna make a joke about the main character from 'Surf's Up' making his own board in the movie and realised that his name was Cody too. Love how it's just the default surfer name.

In reality, it's probably like 99.9% of people quitting their job to follow their passions who will never be able to turn their passion into a livable income. Bo Burnham had a funny bit about this as well: “I would say don’t take advice from people like me who have gotten very lucky. We’re very biased. You know, like Taylor Swift telling you to follow your dreams is like a lottery winner telling you, ‘Liquidize your assets, buy Powerball tickets, it works!'” Also I have to mention that this is such a beautifully produced super chill video! I didn’t know Matty before this but can tell just a super awesome chill person. Cody’s def one of my fav person to watch on RUclips. I’ve picked up that you surf by watching your vids which I thought was super cool but It was very cool to see Cody like this, ya know just kinda being a normal person and not having to perform a bit for the camera. This is a really cool idea and way of doing the interview. Interviews that have something at the end like this as you want to finish it to see the final product. First we feast hot ones also dose this as you want to wait and see the celebrity eat the final spicy wing. Either way great video I hope the channel grows as you stay consistent and post more.
