Thanks for watching my video. I gathered all the videos I shot at this concert in a RUclips playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLwdc0qZNx0tYeZtdchjE49LhxdjA_jGdX . The songs are Rene And Georgette Magritte With Their Dog After the War, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Wristband, Spirit Voices, Cool Cool River, You Can Call Me Al, Graceland, America, Still Crazy After All These Years, American Tune, and Sound Of Silence. Enjoy!
Two of his songs I love so much. Rhythm of the Saints was my favorite album of all. i really felt him on Cool Cool River; that last verse... chills. Fabulous guitar work by Biodun Kuti - great musicians all.
God always sends a prophet to speak to his people In my lifetime that prophet is Paul Simon I do believe in the future, we shall suffer no more... maybe not in my lifetime, but in yours I feel assured
Blown away by these two MASTERPIECES performed by TWO GENIUSES IN MUSIC! I will send this vid to Biodun Kuti personally because he is a Facebookfriend of mine. Thank you very much for uploading this very special part of the entire Paul Simon concert from Oakland 9th August 2019 Not often posted this particilar part of the concerts during the Paul Simon Homeward Bound Farewell Tour 2018 unfortunately. I do not know what the reason is Maybe the difficulties of understanding this specific African-Brasilian-Afro-American music and the poems Paul Simon wrote.
Of all of Paul Simon’s songs over the decades, “Cool Cool River” stands alone as my favorite. He clearly writes the music first, but ultimately converts his nonsense syllables into deeply moving poetry. Who does that better?

Thank you. So uplifting and inspiring.❤
Wonderful....Cool; Cool River is the 2nd best song he wrote with Sounds of Silence #1. Last stanza so wrenching.
“The sweetness in the air combined with the the lightness in my hair”

Rhythm of the Saints was an inspired album, and these two songs are a couple of my faves,
