I’d love to see a comparison between Locke’s sword and something like bahamut sword’s haste, or just going straight for elemental damage, how much total damage can be done or how quickly one or the other finishes a battle like this. Thanks for these breakdowns though, very helpful.
That is a good question and I can answer it. Ofc that I don't have the same power that him but for the experiment is the same. I kept the same attack value, the only change I made was replacing bahamut sword with Locke sword and the truth is that the final result was disappointing, there is practically no difference for several reasons, if the fight is long, the 55 + 11 seconds that the weapon grants are not enough, and recasting it takes a lot of seconds. On the other hand, if the fight lasts 1 minute, the extra damage generated by the haste ends up being the same as if you dedicate 8 atb for T3 and then start attacking. I have already made a Request and they told me that they will raise it to the corresponding area, what I suggested is the following: 1) leave x4 atb but grant T3 in ob6 or ob10 2) lower it to x3 atb and keep everything else 3) lower it to x3 atb and grant T3 only in ob10
@@balmandblade yes, I mean that they sent my proposal/complaint to the corresponding internal area, surely they must have a sector that is responsible for analyzing whether a weapon does not break the game (for example)
To each their own, but I don’t think one copy would be helpful on a dps build as it will kill your stats. For example, if you used this instead of an ob6 bahamut sword, it wouldn’t be worth it. It is worth it in Jro’s case since he maxed the weapon and the weapon has good r abilities for whales, since they tend to max out the other more common stats. Terra’s rod is a better option if just going for a single copy. Just my opinion.
