I am the same...I shoot left handed on a Right handed Recurve..lol It has been working for me for years..lol... I am training for speed shooting...and the Right handed Recurve works great for this.
i think over all you need to do what works for you and if people dont like it then to bad for them . accuracy is what matters and if your better doing it they way you have been then stick with it . iam left handed and have always show right handed once i switched it was different but iam not sure for me which way is better but i do shoot a righty bow righty and a lefty lefty for me on a lefty bow tho was to keep the dam arrow on the rest it is weird but you can get use to anything i guess but for bow shooting dominate hand and eye makes a difference
I have a right hand bow. I lost my dominant right eye 6 years ago. Firearms are no trouble now using my left eye. I haven't tried shooting my right handed bow left handed. I wasn't sure how the sights would workout. After watching this I'm eager to give this a try. Thanks for the video.
Hi, James... sorry about your accident. thats F'd Up. Yes.. you can use a right handed Bow to shoot Lefty... I had no Idea. when I first started Day 1.. I took my bow out of the box and just started shooting.. I had no Idea that there was a left or right handed bow... the only thing is you will have to move your Sights way out to the Left to Compensate for the shift.. Good Luck.. yeah... i know.. when i 1st got into Archery.. I didn't know there was a Rt/Lt handed bow.. I got a Rt hand bow and shot it lefty.. because thats what felt natural to Me.. Now I have a left hand Bow and a Right hand bow.. and I shoot both.. pretty much about the same. Thanks for Watching.. and Commenting.. God Bless..!!

Most likely you are Left eye dominant. That is why shooting left handed seems natural. I am also right handed, left eye dominant.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Many people prefer shooting left handed bows right handed or right handed bows left handed, for multiple reasons.

Left eye dominant is a right hand Bow / Right eye dominant is left handed bow it’s about the eyes not the arms
