i got used to contra mod so much that makes me look at anything else as just silly and it being way more balanced and every general have its own unique gameplay, oh and super units are just so badass

@@Haubibban but atleast everyone got a tank, also its not like this was any different then zero hour, go cry if you say BuT uSa Can SpamM vEes , thats the problem they are for eggs way 2 powerfull and can kill almost everything , in vanilla zh nobody really uses tanks which is not good in my opinion, also you dont just only spamm tanks there many different strategys you can go after like artillery air and stuff, also air isnt completly useless if your not airforce cuz anti air doesnt shoot over the whole map like in vanilla

I watched many replays of experienced players like Marakar or Predator himself and I can say for sure - they did too much with Tank spam. It's not even Red Alert 2 level, it's Red Alert 1. In Generals, just like in Red Alert 3, developers wanted the game to be different and interesting. While previous RTS forced you to spam 3 units like in Contra, Generals offered a gameplay where you have your army consisting of something different than Main Battle Tanks. All Contra does is simplifying gameplay as much as possible so only thing players should worry about is a slight army micromanagement and map control (the game becomes much more interesting after rank 3, but again, it's a different story)
Yes ok your somewhat right id still rather play mods cuz more variety and tactics, thats why shockwave is such a good mod and actually my fav. Also i won many games with a little ground but huge airfoce and not only with airforce wich you can forget in vanilla cuz of the way 2 over powered anti air

TEOD, Contra, even ROTR, all encourages you to build tank blobs with a minority of support units and infantry. Only Shockwave is different among Top-Tier mods because it's purpose is to enhance ZH, not change it completely like the 3 mods I mentioned first.
I am experiencing an error after following this guide "binkw32.dll or mss32.dll" is missing. Any suggestions how to fix? I downloaded those files and put them in the Contra folder, but now I get The procedure entry point_BinkSetSoundTrack@8 could not be found

used the launcher to change the resolution to 1920x1080 but once in game the game resets itself to a max res of 1280x960 is there any way of making this not happen?

I installed it in the main directory Where you have to install it and when I start the game it changes to a white loading screen. And then it says. C&C stopt working. If I then try to start my backup game without contra installed keeps crashing as wel zo I dont know what to do? 😔😔

Always used to play Contra mod, the problem I found with it was the Generals Powers were super over powered in the 5 star rank.
Its not , in pvp its actually very balanced but against ai why should anyone care

@@coolestok6081 I deleted the original "C&C Generals ZH" and Contra all of its files then reinstalled it then I did the whole process.
