One of the most beautiful events for Classic Cars around the world!
There are some very rare cars taking part of the Mille Miglia.
I love this video! I live in Brescia and it is always a treat every year when this circus comes to town.
Thank you for this amazing document.
Best wishes
The city of Brescia is to be admired loudly for their enthusiastic support of this modern version of the only "1,000 Mile Road Race" left in the world. Granted, it isn't quite as "wild & wooly" as it once was but just being able to experience this event, whether you're experiencing it live or remotely, by video, it's still an amazing piece of history! Thanks to all who make this happen each year!!
Alex, thanks so very much for sharing your experience. You are one lucky duck..!!
The XCar crew delivers yet another outstanding video.
Much appreciated, lads..!!
This has to be one of the best x car videos so far. Thanks for sharing your experiences with the world.
Unbelievable video! Just gorgeous! Thank you very much for making it.
what an amazing adventure, thanks for sharing
***** Lets just say.... best "documentary" u guys made so far.. Ty
@@x_Paulo_Nogueira_x What event could possibly compare??? I can't think of any other event in modern times. I can't think of another country that would be so very supportive for this sort of an event. EXCELLENT video!!!
Really great cars in a world class event, fantastic editing as usual, honest and human comments from Alex away from the silly snobbery present in other similar films .... what an amazing video guys, what an amazing video. And what a legend the owner too, sharing his uber-expensive car and allowing us to enjoy it somehow as well. Thanks!!!
What an experience that would be - if only I could!
Among best car related videos on youtube! I really enjoy watching XCAR videos, but this time you've outdone yourselves. Congrats!
Thank you for brightening up my day sir Alex!
I salute you, Ben and the Jaaaag.
A truly brillant and honest chronicle from an enthusiast point of view. You can really sense the love for motorsport pushing the making of this vídeo. Great work guys, best one so far by a long long way.
Man you guys do a good job of reporting. Great detail, actual reporting of emotion and driving feel. Great work.
This was an absolutely blissful video. Keep up the good work.
What a wonderful Video Diary and what a race. Very enjoyable installment XCar. Thanks for the vicarious ride in "The Pug".
this is one of the reason I'm so proud of my city. greetings from Brescia ☺👍
This was Amazing! Maybe the best Mille Miglia video I've seen
Fantastic film. Your presentation is as enjoyable to watch, Mr Goy, as it was for you to be there. Very vivid. I also have to say your presenting style has matured considerably. Please make many more films like this.
Sublime, masterful, epic. Les mots me manquent...
beautiful
Never get tired on watching this vídeo , thank you so much ❤️
This brings back many happy memories for me I was fortunate enough to do thr MM eight times, also memories of the Hotel Vittoria in Brescia. Alas only memories now.
I think I´ve never been so jealous in my whole life. Fantastic video. Awesome!

Feels good to be here early. I love classic racing cars. I don't know if ***** comments on their own videos but for everyone who watches this video and loves classic race cars, 20's-60's, I would recommend watching (Can be difficult to find) Victory By Design.
It's a fantastic DVD series.
Excellent video Alex! Targa Florio and Mille Miglia are events that I'd really love to do one day. I hope I'll have the money.
Great reporting, ambient sounds, NO MUSIC IS NECESSARY! Silence is not a dirty word !
Proud of you Alex. You had the time of your life..Lucky chap!
This was utterly, utterly brilliant
Great tale! Well done .. love the cars!
What a journey, it must have been incredible! :)
What an honest and fearful story, and man I love the throaty music of that Jag C-Type!
Great film and cars, Thanks for posting,
Very nice cinematic style, great job.
Epic! Thanks for sharing! :-)
thanks xcar
Great video!! We drove the Mille as well, but as Press... with a BMW X5 m50d...
Looks like great fun....beautiful car.
I would love to do this race, doesn't get any better!
Probably the best designed sports car sof the 20th century
i know the toll of long drives i spent two months on a road trip last summer and one of my stints towards the end i drove from Nebraska to Galveston island Texas it was 1,250 miles and it took us around 26 hours and then we spent another 7 or 8 hours at a water park it really is a shame more people cant do road trips i did 18,000+ miles on mine over 2 months
beautifully produced, except did we get to know the owner?
I believe the owner preferred this way
la corsa più bella del mondo!
9:43 That red one is soooo tiny.
I don't want to be super negative but holy sweet swirl marks on that Jaguar... the paint looks rough.
Yes I am too poor to afford these cars at this point in time and yes... I am jealous at the moment. :p Just a small nitpick. Great video and cars!
The Curious Noob I gotta say I think old race cars look awesome when they're a bit shit, especially if they're really valuable like Jay Leno's 300l gullwing which doesn't even have paint in some places where it's chipped off! Road cars are a different story but a race car should be treated like a bit of a bitch
Alfred Munkenbeck I agree especially if it has racing wear and tear. But if the paint is in decent shape otherwise then it should be taken cared of. I guess the swirl marks shows that someone IS washing it... just washing it wrong. No sense in pointlessly damaging the paint. That's not as cool as race damage or just "old car" look.
The Curious Noob The swirls were probably put on decades ago when it wasn't a multi million dollar classic.
Maybe there isn't enough paint left to risk doing any restoration, so they just keep it original
Oooh... Very good point! Didn't think of that... this is why I am a noob.
The Curious Noob You’re right; the paint looks a bit rough. But I think that’s what adds to the C-Type’s inimitable charm. If this C-Type outputs 285 horses, as Alex reports, it might be vintage 1953 - that’s 62 years of miles and good living.
I’m currently driving an XKR with 20-some thousand miles on the clock, and it looks pristine… I’d like to imagine what it would look like 60 years from now. BTW, You want to see the patina on a true rolling work of art? Check out a Derelict; the work of Jonathan Ward at ICON in LA.
And on that, buena note Alex!
I would SO love to do that, hardships and all, BEST VACATION EVER :-D
Epic journey! What was the song starting around 1:49?
Bonna note!
Is the song the same as the song in the Corolla KE70 video?
anybody knows whats the song called at 22:12?
thanks :)
Are there similar races but for all cars, not only classical ones ?
...un museo a celo aperto !!!
Lucky bugger!!!! ;-)
Another very fine video.
Is there anything duct tape can't do?
Wow
12:44 orgasm
i would LOVE to drive that thing, the sound is bliss and im not even a fan of old cars...
Should have bought a pair of Italian shoes :)
Wow people actually blocked your way so you couldn't get through traffic?
Some people just have to ruin anything fun huh?
I'd be excited to be passed by a bunch of classic race cars on my commute..
It's not like it's every day ffs
It shows last years Mille Miglia as 2104 instead of 2014
#BucketListItem
lmao melted shoes.... btw i wonder how much the insurance is
TORCH! 19:30
Where is Jay Leno :D
Sorry I'm so late!
This is a great example of racing and manhood being neutered.
Watch their other video of Targa Florio, when "men" rip it up in a Fiat 500.......
"Oh, the humanity!"
Why, oh why keep playing back-ground music and muting the exhaust note - it kind of spoilt an otherwise excellent video!
This is how the classics should be used. Get them out of the humidity controlled museums and let them free.
Why go on about how good the car sounds, but mute it so you can't hear anything apart from the commentary and music - ruined a good video in my opinion.
stop saying awesome your not an American!
Once again, an annoying soundtrack spoils an interesting video.
Why doesn't Ben drive more safely and not put others in danger with his arrogant driving in the middle of towns. He would then not have to waste time with keeping to time.
Lovely.
