FAMU and ASU has been throwing heat at each other since FAMU joined the SWAC. They come after each other’s necks. I can see this becoming a classic in the near future if FAMU doesn’t renew their rivalry with SU or JSU.
I followed this channel recently after the Orange Blossom Classic 5th Qtr review. It was good to see another RUclips reaction channel judge FAMU the right way (not too many out there). Not as perfect but seeing their growth and potential for the SWAC. Do you guys do field show reactions, if not you should include on your channel as well sometimes.
Nobody is challenging famu on marches 😅. Majority swac bands play marches as warm up before 0 qtr. Any swac band if it wanted could challenge faku on a march. However, they are just boring.
I like ASU song selections but they a lil unbalanced definitely need a few more trumpets… famu had some shakey song selections at times but nice balance and execution was better overall
This battle was neck and neck. Both bands had mistakes. Famu dont ever play a march in any battle again. Y is that played in the 5th🤦. Famu sound better and are slowly changing arrangment to add more power, however some of the songs arent structurly sound. Most times famu sounds like a pwi pep band trying to play hip hop/r&b, it doesnt come off well. Asu needs to continue to work on attacks, tone, and balance. Good subpar battle.
@@dj_dwats yall just impressed with them being more SWAC like. I was too when I first saw the battle but still put ASU on top. Song selections and technical arrangements give them the W.
@@dj_dwats Thats wus up. I’m sure you’ll hear how easy their arrangements tend to be with the exception of the March. They mask it with a full sound great balance blend and intonation due to their size but they literally playing half notes and eighth notes most of the time ….. maybe a 16th 8th here and there with lots of rhythmic repetition. It was even worse in the SWAC Championship 5th. Hopefully we get to hear yalls take on that.
