Water bowser video • SandBlasting farm trai...
Doosan 7 120 425 CFM @ 125 PSI
As always thanks for watching much appreciated!
Hard doing for easy viewing :)
If you are a blaster and require help please drop me a message on here. PLEASE don't email or call asking advice on how to setup or operate your Rig. I need to prioritise my free time doing work calls, emails and quote enquiries. I will always try to respond to comments on my videos :)

Finally something good to watch on utube👍. Great job Mick. That abrasive cut really nice. 👍🇭🇲🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
@@Mobileblaster it was meant for the narrow boat video 😏🤭☺️
Awesome buddy really happy for you at last you got yourself compressor and bloody hell they even had me on the end of my seat just a thought you could do with getin yourself a spare light board .
Haha auctions they get the adrenaline pumping haha lights just turned up from amozon 😁👍
Glad you've managed to find another compressor, hopefully it earns its keep.
Thanks mate lets hope I can fill youtube with more videos now 😂
I'm soooo glad I watched this before committing to buy a compressor online!
if its possible you need to go see and run it up make sure it is what it is and your happy before bidding :) as the hammer price is final no warrantee or guarantees
Congrats Mick! you've got a very supportive wife, she's a keeper!
She just wants me back to work she's sick of seen me mope about house winging about not having a compressor haha
Well that was a adventure , glad to see you up and running again, looking at those prices you could sell your old one for nearly half the price of the new one , 😁👍
Mine working and a lick of paint is worth more than the new 1 although it's smaller it's a desirable size this new 1 will suit my new plans other than this idea I've got I wouldn't be hauling this big brute and feeding it with derv. I would have fixed or even got a newer working version of my older 1
@@Mobileblaster more power to your elbow pal , 😁👍
Evening Mick good video thanks I have been asking about for a machine for you but no one has one 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍🇬🇧
Hard to get hold of at the moment even parts for my older 1 are hard to come by. Thank tho pal 👍
Nice 1 Mick !
Stay tuned next video needs editing but.... I won't spoil it 😂
Congratulations! I always enjoy watching videos. I live in Korea.
I hope you can do a lot with the new compressor.
Thankyou I appreciate it 👍 I hope so too its going to need to do some graft to earn its keep 💪
Congrats Mick but kinell! I had restless leg syndrome watchin' that auction go down to the wire, That extended bidding malarkey is a bit out of order eh! Never come across that before. I need a drink meself now.😀
😂 I had a feeling my Internet or some sort of technical issue would stop me bidding 5 months I've been looking for a new rig and it all nearly carried on when it kicked me out I was panicking 😂
безгранично рад вашей обновы!!.. давно хотелось сказать что пора менять))..
здоровья тебе и твоей семье!!..🇷🇺
I think everyone including me knew it was time to eva spend some good money on fixing my old 1 or cut my losses and pick something else. Thank you same to you mate 👍
congrats mate.
Thank you it's turned out to be a good unit after a few little problems I'm happy with it 👌👍
@@Mobileblaster Not just about the compressor. I wish my father was like you also. That kid learns a lot from you. Congrats for being a good educator. Buying used tools is much more fun and educating in my opinion. And saves a ton of money. Not economically logical if your time is much more valuable but we advanve while we solve problems. If you always had plenty of money to purchase a brand new compressor you would probably never care diagnosing them.
One advice. Try to make the videos more connected to each other. A person can fallow what you do if they watch every video you do. It is hard to fallow your progress with looking at the titles. For example i got a bit lost and confused about your progress for purchasing compressors, making a new blasting rig etc. If i give the time i get what is what but that is the problem. We dont have much time.
@parcalabehcet yeah I take it for granted folk are subscribed and following along I forget that new viewers are arriving all the time. When I get some time I will make a playlist and try to have some sort of order thanks for the tip. I like hearing constructive comments like yours 👍 all I want to do is make this channel the best I can possibly make it and I often overlook easy to fix stuff like that thanks 😊
I really hope it works out for you mate 👍🇦🇺🇬🇧
Just text you 😂👌
I bought a 7/120 last year for blasting! Great machine for the job, I've no after cooler either but I don't find it much of an issue though ! They do like their juice though I've often used a full tank in a day I reckon about 15L per hour running at 8bar, don't worry about the lazy start up mine is the very same it's just the way they are. Be carefull lifting the drawbar though when unhitched they are badly balanced and it doesnt take much for the back to smack the ground ! Best of luck 👍👍
Oh that's a relief about it starting like that 👌 I kinda braced myself for derv consumption 😬 I know they like a wee wet hah. Yeah did you see it nearly tip in the video and again when I hit it with the van at the end haha
@@Mobileblaster I thought the same myself at the start but luckily all is good with it !! Yes they do like a good sup but it's no comparison with the extra air supply! I used to run two 140cfm compressors together for blasting and spent most of my time with the tool box out fixing one of them! But in fairness this one I have now has been a reliable machine and mine is a good bit rougher looking than yours ! Any issues with it give me a shout and if I can help with anything I'd be glad 👍
@@scottfennell2905 mate check my latest video out 1st time out with it shut down after 20mins of blasting code 29 I'm going to have a proper look tomorrow 👍
@@Mobileblaster I'm no mechanic so I could be completely wrong but from my own the only real times it likes to shut down is either a fuel issue, or overheating issue! I did have an issue with mine randomly cutting out as the fuel gauge sensor in the tank is designed to cut out if the fuel gets too low so it doesn't have to be re bled. It started off shutting down randomly when the sensor was obviously on the way out and then got to a stage where it would fire up and immediately shut down even though the fuel gauge was reading full ! I ended up just bypassing the sensor by putting a piece of wire between 1 and 4 in the plug which solved it! But I doubt that's why yours stoped! but that is just something to keep in mind in the future !
@Scott Fennell yeah sensors are a good thing when they work pain in the arse when 1 is at fault because they all work on the same system and if you haven't got the doosan software to scan for the error ya pissing in the wind hoping to find a dud sensor by process of elimination I'm going to have a look tomorrow I carnt see a service doing it any harm and for a few hundred quid it could just could fix it 🤞😂 eva way I'm balls deep now I need to get it repaired as I cannot afford to do anything els so a service won't be wasted I suppose
Actually really enjoyed that video, watching the process in real time as such. Gratz on the new purchase. 1st job is to blast all the hire stuff off and give it a nice paint job :)
😊 it's like the saying goes a mechanic's car is always running ruf don't have time to fix my own stuff 😂
@@Mobileblaster heh heh, my fella is a mechanic and my car has been sat at his workplace for over a year to get some welding done, but it will get done for free
@DEmma1972 haha if it gets done lol own jobs have a list of priorities like could I be doing anything els other than working on a day off normally my reply is yep anything is better than doing extra work haha
@@Mobileblaster yes but you will have to test your new compressor before taking it out to site
@DEmma1972 it was tuck to work the following day the next video... I won't spoil it 😬
Cool man, can't wait to see what you think of the difference in running it, if it uses more or less fuel and if it let's you make faster progress
I know from experience that more air uses more derv and media haha harder graft but a 5 hour job with 260cfm will be 3 and half 4 hour but a cleaner finish.
I've gone for this because I have big plans and it's only really doable with extra air 👍
@Mick Blackley SandBlaster aye, I was thinkin if you were running the same nozzle and media rate as on the smaller compressor so you're no kicking the ass out the big one and it's running at 80% instead of 100% it might last longer
@ali lee pfft go big or go home haha I have 450 all way to 950 nosels on van 850 is good for 360cfm I believe 950 is on that other setup at them tankers place I have no call for a nosel that big on van. That's exactly how it works if compressor is set at 125psi and you run a nosel 2 or 3x smaller it will do 125psi but at a slower flow rate go 1 bigger or 2 bigger you get full flow but lower psi 750 on 260cfm will get 80psi ish depending on helmet settings etc 850 your down to 40 ish good to play about with it instead of regulators funny this I talk about this in next video haha
Its something about online auctions that get you like that, don't matter if its £30 or £30,000, If you want it then it gets you going. Get your old one running for 30 seconds and get it in the next RB auction as it will pass the starts/runs/drives test.
😂 it's intermittent so some people will see it at its best and others will run a mile haha
Hopefully a great buy 👍🇬🇧. Hope it does well for the business… this time next year you’ll be millionaires 😅
Next video will show it in action 😬
Time for a bigger nozzle and a fuel card!! seen few of these kicking about on Teesside.
Haha fuel card more like shares in shell lol I've got everything available nosel wise saying that they are probably worn out now but I play about with bigger nosels to lower psi instead of losing flow my biggest nosel is at that place I do the stainless Steel tankers I have no call on the van for a 600cfm nosel 😂
Proper unit that is. Should last you a long time when serviced well. Arent you worried about fuel costs with a larger unit?
Here in Germany we are desperate for dirt cheap diesel as literally the nations economy depends on it. 1,60€ at the cheap fuel stations currently if you fuel up "off peak" (late afternoon, evening, night).
This summer we will see Diesel for 1,50€ maybe even below that again prices are being driven down a lot.
Have they stopped Red derv for you too?
I do have plans this year and I will need a bigger rig for it👌🙏
Mike I hope that compressor works for you and you can make sum money with it.
I've been today and... I won't spoil it haha I'm hopeful of getting the next video up late Saturday or Sunday I need to relax its been along time since I've done a full day haha 😮💨
Hi Colleague.
Why you look only for Doosan.
I thing your old one was ingersollrand (Doosan)
There is something interesting about these compressors?
Sponsorship deal 😂 nah I don't receive a penny from them. They are fairly local to me if I need to pick parts up lots of them about and I have had good experience service from older units. Mainly the dimensions of this new 1 fit that I want to do this year 👍
I got myself an older ecoair f105 it has no pressure whatsoever but the engine is running fine. What would you inspect first? Could it be a sensor or valve, or is it the compressor?
Is it revving real hard and not letting off?
@@Mobileblaster I wouldn't say it's revving hard but once the pressure gets past 5 bar the engine bogs down and shuts off. Immediately restarting the engine while pressure is in the system, starter, engine is struggling, turning slow and if starts, shuts off immediately. After a minute when the pressure has dropped to 0 engine starts nicely again. I have replaced the fuel and air filter.
What I have noticed is if the compressor is running without load (turned on idling, air inlet is closed), idling the pressure in the system is rising. Is it normal?
Good
👌👍
Ruddy hell Mick, how much is a new one?
Depending on the spec anything from 48/55k + 20%vat
Hi Mick. I tested Doosan 10 /110 and when I press the service air it's get more then 12 bar and the engine stopping.
Why happen this?
Dose it show any error codes? You have the dash bit where the start key is and another under the cover this normally spits the codes out to Google 👌
@@Mobileblaster show me the fuel code.
Did send u an email mik regarding some advice on stuff.. but just seen that you been way to Stressed with compressor problems..
Tht compressor u just bought Wats the weight of it with a tank of fuel ok n board.. gota be over 2 ton?
Hi sorry I don't reply to youtube inquiries via email text or phone as you can imagine I get alot of people asking advice I don't mind replying but in my own time youtube is my hobby and I do this in my free time my email and phone is my business inquiries hope you can understand the reasons why I don't reply on them platforms 😊 yeah I would say over 2 ton I'm not 100% sure but I would say tank is 200l that's 200kgs aproxx
I understand mik...
Ya need a bigger van soon mik
@Chris Bennington big plans this year mate but I need to fix and sell my old compressor to free some money up I really need to get back to work 😬
Wat happened to ya old compressor?? AV I missed a video wat happened or not ..
@Chris Bennington packed in mate doing some crazy electrical problems I've had it to auto electrician they said ecu or the top computer and then said it could sill be wiring loom they told me to pick it up they cannot go any further with it £400 later 🫣 he said try a ecu buy to try a ecu its £3000+ vat and then it could be top computer £2800+ vat or a loom £1800+ vat so out of that lot what do I do? I know buy a new compressor haha
that one at 11:21 is worn.. thats blow by. on diesels whenever you look at them. at least pull dipstick when running. prefferably the oil fill cap to see if smoke is blowing out.. if it is walk away it means it's ready for a rebuild lad.
Haha some tired rigs in auction just have to gamble on the better looking crap haha. I did give it a good run and look over I had it running aprox 1 hour and on free full air for aprox 15 20mims I edited alot out 2nd time I had it running aprox 30 mins and 10 or so mins on full free air 😬 next video 1st job I won't spoil it but... haha
Seeing some vapor is normal that's the oil steaming off mostly moisture you can take any brand new engine, take the oil cap off and there will be some vapour.
@@alouisschafer7212 yeah I put it down to it was a very cold day looked like it was smoke it could have been condensation I've not seen it do it since 🤞😂
Nice.. how big was your old compressor?
260cfm 🫡 new 1 is 425cfm but I've got plans for it 👌
@Mobileblaster we are on an island in the middle of nowhere and I'm having to live with 170 cfm until I can get another shipped in
@roberthamblett9619 170 is still ample possibly the perfect size for 1 man easy to move by hand etc 👌
@@roberthamblett9619 I just upgraded to a 12.7cfm from a 4cfm LOL. Just a glovebox in a garage though.
@Mobileblaster lucked out and got attached to a quarry company they've got this thing the size of a container...don't know what it puts out yet, but I'm going to have fun finding out.
The extended time auctions are annoying. Giving people another 2 minute to think about it when another bid goes in at the end is unfair. It makes people over pay for stuff then they don’t pay for it and it has to be put in another auction.
This auction is different to ebay if you bid you buy they will send the bailiffs. I understand why they add time because its a 0 reserve auction everything will sell no backing out when it's in 😂
WoW 😳😲🇷🇺
😁👍
whats this a graveyard auction house?
😂 looks that way send ya crap day haha
P r o m o S M

No more shouting at TV come on start. That's lot dole
