Hi hope you got well paid for this one Mick, nooks and crannies everywhere! Nice to see the new compressor working so well, by god you’ve had some issues in the past…. All gone now 👍. Great vlog as always 👍
that was interesting containers not for human consumption then crane lol almost like the crane driver was oi theres a blaster ill get him to clean up the rust on me rig great job btw
Can you convince the painters to stop painting over my building controls HVAC outdoor air temp sensors too? You're so good at fixing their work already🤣 Kidding, i used to be a painter too, i just like giving them a hard time. Ill put roofers on blast more than this channel does rust though lol.
So you have your yellow van coming together nicely. If you found a suitcase full of money - or at least a really cool loan provider - what would your next rig after that have?
No danger chrome is very hard and the media is softer but a direct hit at a prolonged time could find a soft spot and damage it but I don't go near with a close direct hit so I know im safe 👌👍
Maybe a dumb question but if this video is sped up like I think it is, how long did it take to blast the crane? I was also curious how many times you had to refill the hopper on the machine doing a job like this?
I cannot remember the exact hours involved but it would have been done in a shift 👌👍 if it tuck a full shift it would have needed aprox 8 fills may be a tad more or less 👍
Well it depends yes its slightly faster cut but not worth 2x the price and the profile is steeper not so good for this body shop as they like the finish of glass better
UK has different laws and heavy equipment falls under the same rules as automotive purposes no solvent paints can be used since 2007 also sand has been banned (since the 60s) as a media the US hasn't yet outlawed this although this is more dangerous than solvent paints 😳 sand is known to be very harmful to the operator and others plus anything that breaths air in a 7 mile radius 🫣 all media I use is approved and recycled 👍
1/2" and yeah it was hot this day hence no jumper and the splash was a little too much for my poor arms so I had to make a choice cooler but sore or hot but safe I wanted to be cool 😎 😂 lean not as keen haha
Please show me a method thats faster and leaves a perfect finish ready to except paint I will gladly invest. Although the name has stuck "sandblasting" the media used was crushed glass. (sand isn't always found on beaches. Quarries, sand banks etc are normally the place that building sand comes from.)
Paint is water based and the media used is recycled approved blast media. Quite irresponsible to presume its a bad contaminant although it is a concern but not a issue 👍
As a SandBlaster myself I am so proud to know you myself. 🇭🇲🇬🇧👌👍👍👍
In the blast hood together 😊👌👍🇦🇺🏴
Hello from Australia my 4 year old and 3 year old grandchildren love watching your videos
😊👌👍🏴🇦🇺
The skills displayed blasting around the serial number plate on the crane pulley block! 😎
😎🫡👍

I absolutely love the start of the video Mick. Great job mate 👍
😊👌👍 just for you mate 😆
You have a nice clean flow of abrasive going there mate. Nice work 🇭🇲🇬🇧🍻
😬 it was about as much as I could cope with on my arms 😏 was too hot for a jumper that's not very often admiting it was warm in 🏴 haha
Aup bud, awesome video thanks for your time and consideration top job glad that new machine is running well 👍 keep making money bud🤑🤑🤑

its lazy masking why everything ends up getting painted haha
Shame you are far away from us, we need a blaster on my project
😬🫡👌👍
What kind of deadman switch is that. I like it !
It's just a cheap kill switch off amazon but it didn't last long 😔
For what they charge for diesel, got to get every last drop out of the hose!
😂 I see it as doing the next guy a favour by not letting the snotter stain the handle 😏😂
How you recording with your hood on mate? I wouldn't mind doing that to show my students? What nozzle do you have on there also is it silenced?
No it's still as loud as ever 😆 strap a gopro to the lid 😊👍
So you have your yellow van coming together nicely. If you found a suitcase full of money - or at least a really cool loan provider - what would your next rig after that have?
I have a plan all along for the truck I just need to hone my welding skills and find that suitcase 😂
@@Mobileblaster Right, but would you get a bigger compressor? Or would that just burn more fuel?
Hold my beer Cold 💪🔨good Job
🍻🍺gotcha 😆👌 thanks appreciate it 👍
Did the sendblaster get more salary?
Depending what you're comparing it to
Hi mick,is there any danger of your operation damaging the chrome on those riggers,
No danger chrome is very hard and the media is softer but a direct hit at a prolonged time could find a soft spot and damage it but I don't go near with a close direct hit so I know im safe 👌👍

What type of abrasive do you use for a job like this?
I think this was iron silicate buy normally crushed glass would do 👍
What sand are you running
Crushed glass 👍
What do you get for a job like this
For all business enquiries please email info@mobileblasting.co.uk 👌👍
I love that job but I don't know how much more salary they get
@StevenLisi-wy7ml more than what? It's comparable to any trade the more effort is put in the more you will get back from it
Is grit better for for removing paint from metal then glass ?
Nope, it's just that I didn't have any glass in stock haha 😅
Well it depends yes its slightly faster cut but not worth 2x the price and the profile is steeper not so good for this body shop as they like the finish of glass better
@@Mobileblaster 😆
C'est légal ça de rejeter des kilos de particules de peinture dans la nature ?
No water-based paint is biodegradable and the media used is recycled and approved none toxic 👍
Heavy equipment generally does not have water based paint, outside paint stripping would not be permitted where I live in the states
Sounds like a 3/8 runnin real lean, by that whistle. 👌

Hardly effecient with the amount of times you keep going back over most of it... I'm surprised any beaches still have sand on them 🤷🏻
Please show me a method thats faster and leaves a perfect finish ready to except paint I will gladly invest. Although the name has stuck "sandblasting" the media used was crushed glass. and the paint residues contaminate the lawn, quite irresponsibly :-(

When you see a blue flame 👌coming out of the hose nozzle 🫠that means perfection 😉👍👍👍🇭🇲🇬🇧

Hi mick,
Can I have your email?

😬 I would say too much water passing but nothing much more I can do about it without spending alot of money on another cooler and water trap 😒
