It's been a few months now and I can truly say this keyboard is amazing and has transformed how I use my iPad Pro.

Although I must say that reviewers like Marques Brownlee feel also quite adept and to the point with a really empathetic approach to a wide range of potential user needs too. But with a lot more of production value. I don’t mind either though, loved this 24 hours review and the fact that he had a list of user questions
I don't normally comment on youtube videos but your series on the iPad magic keyboard has helped curb some of my anxiety about the product. Thank you for that! It's also clear now why Apple was so tight-lipped about it because of its polarizing design/features/cost.

Very clear video to explain everything I need to know about this keyboard. My drawbacks for this keyboard are they may not as strong as the filo one. I been doing rude to my filo keyboard and they been great. Great video mate, thank you very much.

My 2018 iPad Pro keyboard had the same problem with the material. I put a vinyl on it, and now it looks better.

You are doing a great job and providing a really good service. Thanks for taking the time to do all of this. Sorry others are stealing your videos without credit. BTW, I have found that my other Apple cases have developed that wrinkle-look. It seems that it is from moisture - most likely the moisture from hands holding it. I found out since I had my first iPad case replaced under warranty and then the second one started to do the same thing. One day I accidentally put my case down where there was a bit of water on the counter. I didn’t wipe it up right away and the case developed a severe wrinkle. My latest new case looks good and I have been very cautious about wiping it down after I use it to keep moisture off. If you can keep it dry I think it will retain its original look and it will not wrinkle. Thanks, too, for discussing Jump Desktop. Can’t wait for that. I use that a lot. Subscribed.

Good review. Seem like one good thing for you being stuck in Thailand because of COVID-19 is that you are one of the first people who have access to this expensive Apple toy. Got mine today for 12.9” ipad as well. Work great, but it is ways heavier than smart keyboard one.

I bought one of these when they first came out. There were certain little irritants that led me me to selling in about a couple of months and purchasing the Kensington case instead. The more I used the KCase the more I disliked it. It did not have the the quality feel and build the Apple did, so I sold it and got the Apple instead again. I am so happy I did. The Apple case just has so many little quality features that when combined the look and feel were far superior. I recommend the Apple over the Kensington after a long test. I believe that you too will prefer the Apple after a long. It is just a better quality keyboard.

I really appreciate this review. As soon as you mentioned the incompatibility/ lack of transition between tablet mode and keyboard mode it was a strong nope for me. Though missing out on access to a trackpad and new gestures feels like a loss.

I do not want a laptop nor desktop so having an iPad Pro that can have the keyboard attached when I need it occasionally is awesome!
In the setting you can program the buttons to do volume up or down but that means getting rid of a couple key if you really want to

Great video! How would you describe the resistance on the keys compared to the older model? (force required to press the key) It sounds like this case is purely for typists.
They could easily improve the tilting angle and usability by building a flap behind the hinge so that when you tilt it beyond a certain angle, that flap would prop the keyboard / laptop mode at a certain angle, allowing the iPad to tilt beyond the angle that it allows now.

Nice summation. I’m on the fence - I still don’t like typing on screen & prefer real buttons, but aren’t sure of the practicality of this keyboard, for my usage.

I have the Smart Keyboard at the moment but have ordered the Magic Keyboard which hopefully I will have in the next day or 2 - my plan is to return one (I have a couple of days left to return the Smart Keyboard) after I’ve spent some time with them both. I really like the typing experience on the Smart Keyboard but hopefully the Magic Keyboard will be even better.
