  • These machines can dig trenches in seconds.
    They're made by a company called Nextrencher. They can dig holes up to 5.5m deep and 1.5m wide.
    The trenching machine is used to lay down water pipes and fibre optic cable.

    Could this be used in a military setting? Such as in the Ukraine war? I'm thinking it could dig trenches a ways behind enemy lines, you would just need infantry to sure it up afterwards.

    They good but they need to also dig the sides down aswell to make it safe for the guys in the trench

      it isn't used for warfare, it's for laying fiberoptic cables and water pipes.

      Because its made for just one line, it can’t make a whole canal because its heavy and needs alot of ground support, it could be used for like 25% of the build do

      Rent is cheap compared to digging it with an excavator, then clean the ditch with hand shovels. It's a one man operation and it doesn't take breaks.

    I recall that ditch digging was something you were doomed to do if you didn't get a high school education. These days you need such an education to run the machinery.

    Technically, anything can dig trenches in second. It's easy, take the amount of time for an item to dig a trench and convert it to second. Now everything can be done in second. Wow!

    They can "deal with rocks and abrasive conditions", you say? oh my wow yes. Remember the first trenchers before they were designed to handle rocks and abrasive conditions? And when you say it can dig a trench in seconds, you mean about 21,600 seconds? Or are you just throwing poorly thought-through content onto youtube for the clicks for some reason other than integrity?
