Other grinders are basically low in weight and they don't grind well , so what you need a wet grinder in which the stone+drum needs to be heavy and how long the motor can run. I have tried other grinders such as panasonic etc but elgi works the best some grinders did not grind well other grinders got their motors burnt.

Not quite, almond butter would work fine, almond cream maybe, too. A high powered blender is better for making plant milks than this, while this machine makes smoother nut butters. A slow juicer would also be good for almond milk, as well as almond butter.
