  • The Supreme Lord lives everywhere, He is known as Vāsudeva.
Although He lives everywhere within the material world, He is never contaminated by the modes of nature. Also when the Lord descends on this planet, He acts in many ways.
The Lord is also equal to everyone, Krishna says in the Bhagavad-gītā (9.29), He has no one as His friend or enemy, and He is equal to everyone. The form of the Lord is not material, It is sac-cid-ānanda-vigrahaḥ.
His body is different from our material bodies. The Supreme Lord has not a material body, like ours. Narayana is the One who pervades all things. Literally, God in humanity.
He takes the appearance of Mohini Devi or Shakti. He’s beyond this duality. He’s neither male nor female. He’s beyond this concept. He loves everybody equally, but in the mind of Man there is this duality. As long as we think of this duality, we’ll have the duality, but if we think of ourselves as being the Spirit like Christ said, we will become this Spirit. This is what we have to identify ourselves to be the soul, eternal, unlimited. The more we identify ourselves with the body, the more we limit ourselves. What is the true meaning of love? Can we love everyone? We have to become love, the first step to spirituality, taking a step within, live a wonderful life, What is real divine love ? Perceive the divine.
The more we identify ourselves as the Spirit, as this droplet of the ocean, the more
our longing will be to be back in the ocean. The more we identify ourselves with the unconditional eternal Love of our heart, the more we will feel the bliss to be part of the Divine. Krishna doesn’t want anything from us. He has everything. One thing He is asking: surrender your mind. The only thing that He is asking is that we by ourselves to say, ‘Lord, please accept my mind.’ But when we give something, we don’t claim it is ours! Once we give something to someone, once it leaves our hand, it is not ours anymore. Like Jesus said: “it is not what you put inside your mouth that makes you dirty but what comes outside your mouth.”
That’s why Bhagavan said, ‘Surrender your mind to Me.’ He didn’t say, ‘Surrender your body.’ He didn’t tell us to surrender our consciousness, our soul, or whatever. He has all this. What He asks us is just to surrender that mind. Once we transcend that limited mind, then only love will awake. Otherwise, we are still swimming in the pile of rubbish.
Not outside, but inside of our mind. The negativity inside of our mind will make us perceive in the outside that rubbish. We project in the outside what we have inside our mind. If we have goodness inside of us, everything will appear good. But if we have a tone of dirt inside of this mind, we will be like blind. What would we see? We will see only the rubbish which is in front of us. We can’t see more than that. It’s like if you put a red glasses, you will see the world red. You put on blue glasses, you will see it blue. You put a green, you will see the world green. But if you put the glasses of love, the glasses of God’s image, that’s what you will see all around you. The body is made of 206 bones and it is said that wherever there are bones, we can control them, but the tongue is not made of bones, so we have to learn to control our tongue. If this tongue can chant the Divine Names all the time, we will be able to control it. When we have controlled the tongue, we will be able to control our mind. When we express a thought, if it is Divine we will see the positivity, we will see the result of it. If it is negative, we will also see the result. Ask yourself “Am I calm? Am I quiet? Am I in silence?” or “Am I in pride and wanting to express it?” So watch your thoughts and emotions, always, and be in silence. This is the first basis of spirituality. Silence means to control your tongue. When we open up our hearts, Love flows. This Love doesn’t have any limit, but the love here (points towards the head) has a lot of limits. Such is the greatness of the name of God, that whoever is singing it, with an open heart, singing it with faith, will be pulled more inside. And the more we go into it, the more we lose ourselves in this Divine name, the identity of being human disappears. What stays is only the Divine; that which we all are. We are all divine.
