  • Nicolo Melli took over the coaching duties from Ettore Messina during the last time-out to design a genius play that almost erased the 3-point deficit and won the game in EuroLeague Round 16 against Real Madrid. AX Armani Exchange Milan managed to get the offensive rebound, but Malcolm Delaney's crucial three-point shot was off the mark.

Wowwwww..That really was a nice plan to screen for Hines.Melli really improved himself on every aspect after Brose days. And ı really appreciated Messina for listening to his players and deciding to go with Melli's plan.. Looks like zero ego!

Do you think Trincheri is better than Obradovic and Messina?

In this time-out..in this situation between Messina and Meli..in the way it worked and almost succeeded..in all these its all the main difference between NBA and EUROLEAGUE..players and coaches with very high IQs..with systems..with practising one these systems..with serious defences..without the All Star players wanting the ball for themselves and shooting 3-points in the fadt breaks without one single pass...here in Europe..we are the basketball..we are not circus or cinema..here js FIGHT and SOULl..not an entertainment show..!!

This is the reason why we Filipinos suck in international stage. We love the NBA too much when we don't have the talent and athleticism that NBA players have. Good thing now though we have a good coach and a better system that prioritizes ball movement.
