I hadn't watched your videos in a few years and today you popped in my mind, I'm glad I could find you again and I'm glad to see you tattooing and exploring other stuff! you also said a couple of things that resonated and it felt nice to hear! thanks for the video!
Thank you so much. I started tattoing myself, and felt a pressure, like, a tattoo every 2 weeks. It was stressing me out. So, i am more relaxed, and my last tattoo is about 1 month old. So, i will do the next one eventually tomorrow. My tattoos are for me, they are not perfect, i cannot draw really good, but i have a study hand. I love the journey. And just and only handpoke.
This is a SO much needed video... Thanks you again for your content ! I relate so much to your experience with art and deadline, forcing yourself to do the things but it doesn't fulfill your artistic needs... it's so important to remember to take time and experiment in those time when everything need to be done and perfect instantly :(
Thank you for your super kind comment!! I wish it was easier to be creative. My big regret is getting excited about a project and sharing it too quickly without giving myself time to enjoy it first.
I got a rotary machine. It's too much responsibility is why.plus i enjoy it.i enjoy giving myself, friends and family tattoos.once it becomes a job it's no longer fun.thanks for being a beacon of inspiration when i started
I wanted to ask what you thought about the tattooing kit from Amazon? Is it decent for someone beginning? I know you still need to buy all the cleaning supplies still. Or is it better to just buy everything like how you have listed in your other video on supplies to buy before starting?
Hi I'm super late to replying to this, my apologies. A lot of tattoo supplies are gonna be kinda sketchy. Honestly I might trust a small company on Etsy that makes a handpoke kit before I would order anything off Amazon. I just saw an article today about inks from amazon having bacteria in them, which is scary. I want to tell you to order a small batch directly from a tattoo supplier, but a lot of those aren't publicly accessible. I use worldwidetattoo .com personally, but even their products aren't perfect.
Ah- it's a cosmetics box I got on etsy from a vintage shop. Any tacklebox will do. Eggplant purple is my favorite color, though, so i got this one. Not sure how common they are...
Hello, if I'm understanding your question, most artists dab (with a bit of dry paper towel) the ink as they go. I personally have a habit of soaking a paper towel in Green Soap solution and using that to wipe, since the ink dries. Highly recommend getting in the habit of dabbing as you go!

Yay, I'm glad to meet someone is in the same boat. I hope your pokes are fun! Thank you for your support.
I actually like how the red tattoo faded, it's like the line slowly turns into dots. It looks intentional!
Hey thank you! Thats very kind of you to say. Gotta embrace the fade 😎
"Just make stuff" 🙂

Where did you get your purple art box thing?

What do you do to wipe off the extra ink mid tattoo?
