A lot of people complaining how small the units are… my thing is your first home most often is not your dream home… just start somewhere… I wish I owned a house as big as this when I first started… but my first small match box house in Greater Portmore…. Gave me the best star in life…. Now I own 2 properties on the North Coast… just start somewhere….
I went to Jamaica over the summer and had a blast. After my trip, I told myself if I was to go back that I would visit the areas of where the native lives to learn more about their culture and lifestyle. This was beautiful to see all the hidden gems in Jamaica that often go unnoticed. 💗
I love watching house hunting tours. Looking for my own home is stressful but it’s relaxing watching others. It was interesting learning about not guidelines. I wasn’t familiar before watching your video. I agree a guided tour would have been really helpful.
Congrats on looking for a new home. That's an exciting time. As a Realtor, I love helping people find their first home and then sell it when they are ready to upgrade. I love Jamaica. They have some beautiful homes. What a wonderful experience.
@@boyyobpp I'm not about to put all that money in getting a home then think about redoing a kitchen right away(which is very important for me) so it's a NO/turn off for me.
@@romaleerowe Okay I understand.... Newly constructed houses tend to use builder grade fixtures no matter the selling price... But if you're lucky you'll find that $24mil house with better fixtures
@@boyyobpp not saying no but many individuals would not be immediately re doing the starter home . So it’s looking at space based on their personal preference. Thanks for your feedback
Those are cheap cabinets, low end fixtures, for that money. The main bedroom could have been 12x14 and the secondary bedroom 12x12. They are going too bad .
I had similar views about the land space too as we saw where one could do some extensions once allowed. A guided tour would have helped many more persons. Now in relation to the sewage we saw sewage pits to the side of each house that was open for viewing but not entirely sure if the sewage set up was complete
I personally love house hunting lol. The whole process it stressful but I also find it fun. Jamaica is beautiful only been once but to have a home there that’s bomb!
These are some lovely homes and the cost of the homes definitely show it lol. I about passed out at the price of $13M USD for a house. Let me go gather my life after that lol!
Hey dear I sadly never got the opportunity to ask this but a rep does answer individuals in comments on the nht IG page. I really hope you get an answer and also get through. But to be honest I dont see why would one be restricted to applying to both 🤔 especially if you qualify for both. If I get the straight answer I will come back here and let you know
Hey there. Yes running water is in the development as at other sections persons are fully living there who have purchased lots and built their own houses
Good morning thanks for checking in. Unfortunately at this time these houses are sold out and have been handed over to their respective owners. However there should be more development for Perth estate and other areas. You may stay tuned here and also on NHT (National Housing Trust) website and Instagram page for updates
hello good day. okay whether you take the highway and come from Spanish town end or come through brown’s town and cave valley once you reach Mandeville the easier route to the development is as follows : keep in the left lane at the Manchester High school stoplight ( you will have Manchester high on your left and Ncb bank on your right) after going through that first stoplight you will pass mega mart on your right ; u continue straight. NO TURNS. go through a next stop light and continue straight ahead no turn offs. the development is on your left hand once coming from this direction ( you can put in google maps from Manchester high to Perth Blvd ) the road you will traveling on name Perth road. hope something in this helps lol
Yes mainly older but that never mean some young professionals never get through before But it's the discussion many having for NHT to get with the program for young professionals to get a fare chance
@@ItztheRealOG hi itztheRealOG like your content but what impressed me the most is your appreciation to the replies (you replied to 82 out 89 keep up the good work nothing wrong with positive criticism

Go on master builders website and check the construction cost per square foot... Those houses are cheap... Remember you buying house/land/fixtures/utilities
Thanks for your feedback however NHT should be cheaper for who it is to cater for and what is offered to individuals. Private developers of course would be more because of the bigger market they cater for and different options they have.
@@ItztheRealOG Whenever you get the chance research the current construction cost per sqft... Multiply it by the size of the house then calculate the cost of the land and how much to prepare it... Then you'll see if the houses are too expensive

I wonder I may have same experience lol looking at houses generally is fun but when it's my turn I wait to see how it goes

That's great to know. Keep up the good work and yes wasnt a bad experience
House hunting is so excited. The living room look small, but I guess they’re made as starter homes.
Yes these are referred to as starter homes
People tend to forget that NHT make starter homes
I'm into this kind of videos lately since I'm looking for a house as well 😊
Nice
Present, miss! Sweet Manchester.. I miss it so much
Yess marking the register 💃🏾
I like the way you sell the houses congratulation good on you

Good job Olivia. I'm here for these kinda videos
Thanks much for your feedback. Lol alright I will make a note
Its small, but it would help me roght now. Have to make use of the space.
I would need one yep
Good video! I like looking at houses and the new neighborhood is cool to see
Yes it can be a fun experience
Rooms are 10 by 12 so tiny... Land space looks reasonable. Is the sewage done or do buyers need to dig sewage?

Are these houses available for rent? If so how much is it per month?
Good day no these houses were for sale
I love the background music...
Thank you 😁
Those are some nice houses. The kitchen and bedroom area is very small though

Cupboard space really small

Glad you saw that too. it is important yes. they are a real big group of persons who have home ownership dreams
It's great to see the new developments they have
So true. See what they had been up to
Are those standard sizes for Jamaican starter homes there? Those roof tops are nice. I wish it was more cabinet space.
No not the standard size but it's the size granted by this national developer
Will be having other houses for sale ??
What's the name of the town house or village? Looks very relaxing there, the space is good.
This development name is Perth Estate
Really informative and good video Olivia! Per Ardua Ad Astra!

If you think houses in Manchester are more expensive then you need to check houses in the other parishes. I think these are the cheapest.
