Spurs should pick him up but not trade for him his a big talent but Atlanta wants too much for him but still doesn’t rule out getting him in free agency would love to see Trae in a Spurs uniform he can brings everything we need with a passing a guard and someone who can put points on the board
The Hawks are not trading Trae no matter how much other NBA "executives" try and talk it into being. Just look at their moves this off season, all size and defense. Exactly what you need around Trae. Let's see how this season goes, I'm hopeful they can land around 6th in the East.
You're right. The Denver GM needed to add a vet or 2 at trade deadline last season ... did nothing to fix that awful bench. Brown and Green were dependable vets.
🔘 Spurs don’t want Trae 🔘Hawks own Lakers 2025 1st round pick so trading him to LA makes no sense 🔘 Magic’s defensive rating would tank with Trae - I doubt they’ll risk it. 🔘 Jokic probably doesn’t want Trae either- Trae’s off-ball IQ is terrible. ** Hawks owner cares more about selling tickets than winning games so he’ll most likely extend Trae over trading him.. 🤷♂️
You forgot to mention 25 points and 9 assists over his career. Literally the only player to do that in the league over the last 5 years. But keep telling yourself he's trash
Also you wanna get a team to overpay trade him at the deadline. You are gonna have of the 12 top teams (6 EAST 6 WEST) someone has got to be in the market for a PG. I do think you are right with the magic. It makes sense. They get say 4-7 place before the deadline they are gonna want something. In that case TY could be to the Magic what Kyrie was to Dallas. Lakers don't work imo. I think Lemelo Ball is a born Laker. I cant see him wanting to stay in Charlotte finishing 7-16 much longer. He is from LA so it's just an easy sell.
Mehhh!!! if i am a GM, why shall i trade for Trae Young... dont get me wrong Trae is a good player but the exchange for Trae is too much for a player like him... hahaha... thats the reason why he has a low trade value right now...
Those Hawks fans are still holding to that ECF appearance few years ago, like common, lets face it ... Hawks got lucky they even reach ECF that year... if that ECF run is real (and not lucky) then why they cant replicate it or even be a good team (and not just a candidate for play in team in a weak eastern conference team). hahaha
Bro you got so many things wrong… including little things like traes career high 3p% - he shot 38.3% in 2022. That rumor from Tim McMahon is bait at its finest. THE HAWKS WERE NOT SHOPPING TRAE. And btw, they don’t want to help the lakers when they have their 2025 first.
Spurs would be a mistake. I get TY is talented, but he is bad for the locker room. You want a guy like fred vanvleet. Someone at that fringe all start level who is happy playing 2nd or 3rd fiddle. You get TY or someone that is used to being the best guy on a team their nose is gonna get out of joint when in the 4th Q the ball/plays are made for wemby and they are used as the decoy
Trae is only 25. Why are ppl like he can’t wait for these guys to develop? Rebuilding is dumb. Just keep growing. And where have the Hawks ever said they wanted to move Trae?
Trae being 25 doesn't matter when his celling is so low. As good as he is on offence he is such a defensive liability that it negates most of that value. It would be one thing if he was bad defender that was getting better or if he had athletic tools that he wasn't using properly. He is undersized while not being particularly fast for that size, and is either unwilling or unable to improve his defensive IQ to compensate.
@@justadudewithopinions6209 Trae is the worst defender in the league but no one said Dame couldn’t win a title. They have to surround him with loaded defense, but plenty of terrible defenders have won titles.

No they didn't. People act like Trae is a bum. Dude is a generational offensive talent. Look at the numbers. But nah, just roll with the non thinking narrative. Hawks fans know that the real reason the team isn't good is the cheapskate owner and anemic front office. Finally the FO made some good moves this off season.
@@timbertron1 The question is simple: Who would you rather have? A 6'7" point guard that can score mid range, from three, inside, drive and just because of his physique, play some defense or... A 6'1" guard that can only score and pass, but is a defensive liability just because of his height and weight. Can't move anyone, can't defend anyone, can't rebound or put a body on anyone... I forgot... Who's in the MVP conversation and 1st team NBA every season? To me, the answer is pretty obvious.
Orlando leaders killed the vibe of basketball in the city. No outdoor courts near the arena. No fan craze. The Nagic was in the playoffs hanging on for survival against Cleveland I drove past the arena. You woukd not know a game was going on. I only knew because I had the radio on. It was pathetic. Unlike the Shaq era, restaurants had game on. It was dead quite outside, even dark when I drove past. Wack.

Did you not hear what he said? No team wanted him at the high price hawks were asking, but now they seem more ready to let go of Trae at a much lower price, which will get more teams interested
No one wanted him for Atlanta's asking price last year. No one's trading three picks and a player for Trae. One pick or a couple players? Sure, lots of teams might go for that. It's all about what you have to give up.
@@MrE_ The Hawks weren't asking for a high price. No one talked to them because no one wanted Trae for the obvious price of at least 2 first round picks. That's because people don't see Trae as even worth that much, so no reason to make that call. He's not a good player
I'm a Spurs fan. Hawks problems getting worse? Oh yeah! I was so frustrated last year when all the talking heads and "plugged in" goofballs were talking about the Spurs wanting to trade for Trae. The Spurs require two things: Get over yourself and give effort on D, neither of which Young possesses. They might try him out if they can get him for cheap, but Pop and RC would never trade 3 picks and a player or two for that dude. There's no way they trade Atlanta's '25 pick. Spurs trade the '26 swap and the '27 pick and try Trae out for a year? That sounds good. If he doesn't work out, sign and trade him again or let him walk.
The issue is that Trae stablished himself as a max player, and everyone knows it. But no team in a half decent mind would offer him a max contract due to the impact on the cap limit. He is a trap to any team
The anti-Trae propaganda is getting tired at this point. Media just wants to force him to a big market, then they’ll be all over him, and Casey is sadly playing right into it for clicks 😴 there’s still time to delete this video my guy
There's still time to delete this comment. Ain't nobody glazing over Trae in the big markets. Even the rebuilding Spurs are very hesitant about him. Teams would rather overpay old KD and PG than sign his ice tea ass😂
@@akirosakuragi9279 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 There's still time to delete this comment. Are you dumd the reason why spurs didn't want trae is because his massive contract you dumd low knowledge fan 🤣. And plus you were talking about overpay, I think you forgot about a overpay trae to. 🤣🤣🤣
I'd like to see Bogdan in Denver ... but the Nuggets GM is awful. As good as Jokic is ... they are going to slide in the West. They still don't have a decent bench and just lost Caldwell-Pope. Russ was cheap salary wise and he will hustle ... but he still can't shoot.😂
4:37 im a hawks fan and this moment was sadly my turning point with Trae. Such a self sabotaging narrative to promote on your own platform. Like just say you hope he turns into a star and keep it moving.
Spurs do not need him. There will be plenty of point guards who will want to play with Wemby, especially after they see want him and CP3 pull off. Don’t need Trea. Let someone else deal with all that.
if the situation really is as that article claims... then the Hawks have no one to blame but themselves.. maybe the League for keeping to the idiocy of the Draft.. but certainly least of all Trae Young.. wasn't his fault to end up with an organization so competent at this Hoops thing, they traded Luka on Draft Night.. should we be surprised then, the same org failed in making a team that had reached the ECF a more permanent contender? or at least keep them capable to reach the post-season? that "you can't build a winner with X as the best player" is horsesh!t anyway.. you can say the same about KD... and that the Hawks have no market for him is also their own fault... because of the contract they gave him (or the CBA forced them to give him).. it's not that nobody wants him.. but to trade for him you'd have to give up so many valuable players + picks.. that his salary would end you up in the same place as the Hawks.. without the trade assetts and cap space to sufficiently replace/aquire the pieces you had to give up for him.. thus he's stuck.. and don't you think TRAE would rather play for a competent contender than waste his talents away being stuck with the Hawks?
It’s really not Traes fault the franchise owners bad decisions over the years keeps setting them back. He is an offensive juggernaut but with all that offensive effort he lacks towards his on/off ball defense. There direction to put better defensive players around him is a good start. The success of going to the ECF was not all Traes doing but the team as a whole at the time. Collins averaged 20 ppg and they had Gallo who was a great big body defender as well as a great perimeter threat. Trae is great but having a player that takes up a lot of possessions makes it difficult for the other players to get in rhythm. The team has struggled because Traes roll has changed from him needing to step up due to a lacking offense to have a great offense and him needing to be more of a facilitator. He’s a great player but it seems building around him comes with a lot of difficulties, not to mention the fact that they offered him a ridiculous salary putting them in even more of a bind when it comes to there salary cap space.
As a hawks fan, i was like wtf are these guys doing with the roster after they went to the ecf a few years ago. They went straight downhill from there.
NBA execs should know by now that a small player like Trae can never be a true superstar leader of a team regardless of how skilled he is. He's just too small, too much of a liability defensively. The last small guy to lead a team to a chip was Pistons Isaiah Thomas and he was still built tougher than Trae and was surrounded by "bad boys".
Magic should 100% inquire about Trae. The Magic are the best possible fit for him. All those defenders around him. A lineup of Trae KCP Franz Paolo and Wendell is extremely tough
The hate on Trae is crazy. The mistake wasn't the building around him, but the trade for Murray. Because, we like it or no, Murray is not a superstar caliber layer, and the Hawks wasted a great bench players and tons of pick for that player. But now, the Hawks still have talents, and they still have their 2 best player (Trae et Bogadnovic). Thus, the can aim more than a play-in situation next year.
Trae peaked in his second year. I mostly blame the Hawks for Trae never getting any better at his flaws. The Hawks gave Trae the keys on day 1 and said you are perfect.
Trae Young took the Hawks to the ECF just three years ago. Yes, he has his flaws, but let’s not act like a good team’s ceiling with Young is the play-in. The Hawks suck.

Spurs should pick him up but not trade for him his a big talent but Atlanta wants too much for him but still doesn’t rule out getting him in free agency would love to see Trae in a Spurs uniform he can brings everything we need with a passing a guard and someone who can put points on the board
Send kd to spurs
Trae Young is just a streakier, worse version of Damian Lillard lol
The Hawks are not trading Trae no matter how much other NBA "executives" try and talk it into being. Just look at their moves this off season, all size and defense. Exactly what you need around Trae. Let's see how this season goes, I'm hopeful they can land around 6th in the East.
I would love that Denver trade (nuggets get to fill in the bruce brown and KCP hole with bogi) but Atlanta would never do that 💀
pfp killin me😭
You're right. The Denver GM needed to add a vet or 2 at trade deadline last season ... did nothing to fix that awful bench. Brown and Green were dependable vets.
🔘 Spurs don’t want Trae
🔘Hawks own Lakers 2025 1st round pick so trading him to LA makes no sense
🔘 Magic’s defensive rating would tank with Trae - I doubt they’ll risk it.
🔘 Jokic probably doesn’t want Trae either- Trae’s off-ball IQ is terrible.
** Hawks owner cares more about selling tickets than winning games so he’ll most likely extend Trae over trading him.. 🤷♂️
43 million, no defense and career 35% from 3. No team in their right mind would trade for that.
Can do a lot better for that kind of money
You forgot to mention 25 points and 9 assists over his career. Literally the only player to do that in the league over the last 5 years. But keep telling yourself he's trash
@@timbertron1 on trash shooting percentage and many turnovers.
Go look up his playoff stats it's even more horrific.

Trae and the Magic ? Make that Happen
Your voice is so annoying 😡
Not like the Pacers, more like the Mavericks!
Off season NBA youtube be all over the place sometimes
One word: nepotism.
Mehhh!!! if i am a GM, why shall i trade for Trae Young... dont get me wrong Trae is a good player but the exchange for Trae is too much for a player like him... hahaha... thats the reason why he has a low trade value right now...
I would trade bogdan to denver.
I find the take that he can’t be the #1 or atleast #2 option on a championship team crazy. He should be the one requesting a trade from them
trae likes being number 1
Hawks value Trae way too much
Spurs would be a mistake.

Jokic is going to ride horses if he gets Trae. Or he smacks that weak ass american fake though guy out of him with some classic real eastern Europe toughness.
I dont see them trading Jamal but him going to the 2. Otherwise I dont think they will see it as an upgrade.
The Spurs do not want Trae and they ain't giving Atlanta their picks back
The hawks are finished. I have no faith in Zacharay riscacher. His name has zero aura
Ngl Trae young on the magics would be something different
Spurs and denver want darius garland

The Dallas/Atlanta trade looks worse and worse every year for Atlanta. Dallas flat out robbed them
No they didn't.

To me, the answer is pretty obvious.
@@cesarlastres I would rather Luka. But your missing the point. Trae is one of the best guards in the NBA. But people act like he's garbage.

Wack.
Getting Murray was a big mistake😂 as much as Westbrook on the Lakers you don't even needed to be in the NBA to be like, like this man can't play team basketball and lack of defense

This doesn't make any sense! You just said NONE of the teams wanted him, so now you're say they DO want him, in the next sentence? C'mon son
0:46 Hence, the use of the word "IF" Someone doesn't listen and comprehend properly.
@@MrE_ The Hawks weren't asking for a high price. No one talked to them because no one wanted Trae for the obvious price of at least 2 first round picks. That's because people don't see Trae as even worth that much, so no reason to make that call. He's not a good player
@@blablablaa14to sit here n said tre nah a good player is absurd homie… wtf u smoking 🚬
If he doesn't work out, sign and trade him again or let him walk.
trae young is going to end up like fultz once his contract is done

thank you for the progress bar. IYKYK
The issue is that Trae stablished himself as a max player, and everyone knows it. But no team in a half decent mind would offer him a max contract due to the impact on the cap limit. He is a trap to any team
Trea and Bog in Denver would be SICK
Could you do nba rankings please?
Always enjoy watching these during my lunch break
I feel it is more likely for them to trade all of their own picks and the t wolves picks for Trae instead of trading back the Atlanta picks
The anti-Trae propaganda is getting tired at this point. Media just wants to force him to a big market, then they’ll be all over him, and Casey is sadly playing right into it for clicks 😴 there’s still time to delete this video my guy
Lol, why would he delete the video? :D
There's still time to delete this comment. Ain't nobody glazing over Trae in the big markets. Even the rebuilding Spurs are very hesitant about him. Teams would rather overpay old KD and PG than sign his ice tea ass😂

I hope Bogdan goes to Denver, that would give them huge boost, and maybe even put them on title road again.
They need to trade MPJ. Murray might still have a comeback after he heals like last time but MPJ is 🗑️
I'd like to see Bogdan in Denver ... but the Nuggets GM is awful.
Best channel on youtube 🤝
“Trae as your best player is a play in team” ?? Did he not lead his hawks to the ECF and was an underdog in every series played in that playoff run?
Bro is a certified hater obviously
I can't stand this Trae Young slander. Bro hasn't done anything to anyone
I would say he wasn't the underdog in the Knicks series but in the east today trae young as your best player is a play-in team 100%
6:56 boy shutup lol. it is EXACTLY the russel westbrook situation. it’s even worse because trae is 6 foot
As a hawks fan i have the ability to say FUCK WE ARE COOKED
Why does everyone hate this man for his ads!
3:23 Yessir
Trae can stop signing extensions and be a FA. Then he can go anywhere he wants.
As a die hard nuggets fan, keep that man away from our team.
You think Paolo and Franz want to take a backseat for Trae and watch him take shots as he likes while they can be happy if they sometimes get a touch?
The hate on Trae is crazy. The mistake wasn't the building around him, but the trade for Murray. Because, we like it or no, Murray is not a superstar caliber layer, and the Hawks wasted a great bench players and tons of pick for that player.
But now, the Hawks still have talents, and they still have their 2 best player (Trae et Bogadnovic). Thus, the can aim more than a play-in situation next year.
Young on the wolves would be so crazy. But Rudy’s contract is crazy and they need him
To be fair Hawks can actually do reasonably well since they are in the east and other teams will be actively tanking
Trae peaked in his second year. I mostly blame the Hawks for Trae never getting any better at his flaws. The Hawks gave Trae the keys on day 1 and said you are perfect.
