One of the best fighting games ive ever played as a kid in the 90's
The OST for this game was out of this world when it first came out and still holds to this day. Especially Cap's BGM
In the 90s, a kid coudnt escape this perfection and nobody complained. Fuck i miss this classic
This game have most intense combos than other sequels, the BGM is a piece of art, memories back then...sweet memories.
DC characters needed a Fighting Video Game like this since the 90s.

You gotta love how they did this game. It aged nicely like X-Men: Children of the Atom, MSH VS SF, Marvel Vs Capcom 1 & 2, and even X-Men Vs Street Fighter. Nice play game.

I had this game for PlayStation back in the early 00s. I never did the gameplay/story, just always did the Vs mode with my sister lol. I didn't even remember that this game included Thanos and the infinity stones!
I used to love playing this game in the arcades. I have it for Sega Saturn. You can play as Dr Doom and Thanos too. It is fun. I like all the different ways that you can use the Infinity Gems. Each Gem affects each character differently. BTW Arcade1up has the arcade version of this. Some versions of the Super Nintendo Game: War for the Gems. Lol.
I once saw the original ad poster for this game.

@@nathoncapps6085 Yep. People seem to forget that. I get attacked by so called fans for calling them Gems. I don't read new comics, so I still call them Gems. I just collect the old comics, like Infinity Gauntlet. Just call them, what you want to call them. Love this game.

I wish they made Adam a playable character in this game as he originally defeats Thanos in the original infinity gauntlet storyline.
@@K.J.S.est1994 I agree. I've found it absurd that he's one of the more powerful Marvel characters but he just doesn't get to be playable in any manner and even references of him are extremely limited.

I for one would be cool with Capcom if they did another "Marvel Vs. Marvel" fighting game in the near future. During the height of the sixth-generation era of gaming consoles (the era of the Sega Dreamcast, the Sony PlayStation 2, the Nintendo Gamecube, and the Microsoft X-Box), I was praying that Capcom would re-release X-Men: Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes on one compilation disc. All six games could have easily fit on a DVD-ROM with lots of room to spare.

This game alone is way better than the infinity movies, merely for the fact that Dr Doom himself makes a badass appearance out of nowhere.

MARVEL's iconic fighting game adaptation was released between 1994/95 and still seen into 2020s due to highly respect of FGC, Marvel fans (both comic fans and MCU fans) and CAPCOM fans. We need Marvel vs. CAPCOM 4, Marvel vs. Street Fighter 2 (including new rosters such as Laura, entire Final Fight characters such as Guy), Avengers vs. Street Fighter.
All Capcom's superheroes games are one of the best things they did in the late 90s

I think Marvel Super Heroes could have benefitted from having at least two or three more playable superheroine or supervillainess characters instead of having just Psylocke, but as with X-Men: Children of Atom, as some people on the Internet say, Psylocke is bae.

@IceHighwind: Google the Japanese ecchi/hentai artist known as Yuri-Ai. The best way to describe his art style is as if legendary anime director Leiji Matsumoto worked for Playboy (before they screwed themselves) and/or Penthouse. In my humble opinion, his art of Psylocke is some of the best to ever grace the Internet. Fair warning, though: a lot of his art in recent years has featured guro (graphic violence, particularly against women)(mostly in the hentai doujinshi he's put out), so if you're not into that, be careful.

There is a whole army of Marvel Characters, but this game only gives you 10.

Ahora que lo pienso, mi interes por los comic de Marvel vienen de este juego. Osea, ya sabia de Spiderman y wolverine por las series animadas, pero entre a los comics despues de este juego. Eso no lo pudo hacer DC comics .

Yes. In this game Magneto don't have the voice that he have had in the X-Men: The Animated Series (from the 1990s) or in the X-Men movies.
For some reason, they got the guy who voiced Beast in the cartoon to do Magneto in this game. I'm guessing Magneto's original voice actor didn't want to do video game voice acting or something. I still like Magneto's voice in this, though.
