- Just destroyed the Tamiya Plasma Edge 2 doing the triple challenge. I did a 40 foot jump at the skate park. I stopped counting at 40 feet because i was not sure where it landed but i know i cleared the middle of the park. I Broke the body mount ,a-arm, chassis, esc wire, hinge pin, and the wing. This TT02B went better than expected. Even after all the abuse it has gone through in the past few weeks. And the coffee was on point.

LOL ya it did take morr abuse then i thought it could. It only cost about 30 bucks to get it back to box stock. Thanks for watching!

It took a lot of big jumps before the hard ending into the step! 40 feet is a heck of a distance!
This little cheap buggy did better than i expected.. Now Its time to let my kids have fun with it, after i put the stock gearing back in .LOL

but what an impressive chassis! I am amazed and excited by the high quality of Tamiya plastics, it is the first time I have seen this chassis jumping in a skatepark, and it seems like a very cheap car, with plastic parts and gears, but with a resistance and hardness that many other brands would like to have them! greetings friend
It is a very cheap car, lol. It did take I beating better than I thought it would

Sometimes I think that Tamiya has better quality and durability in terms of gears, much better than Traxxas, Kyosho and Redcat... and this buggy is not made for jumping, it is very hard! What parts do you recommend and have you upgraded to metal or aluminum?
This car is mostly stock but I did put a metal gpm gear set in the rear. I kept blowing up the rear gearbox lol
Is this standard, or has it been upgraded?
It's been upgraded. Hobbywing esc and motor on 3s. Ball bearings and high-speed gear set and full ball bearings

@kieronbarton1559 it comes as a kit you have to build. You have to buy the controller and batteries separately . This kit is the Tamiya plasma edge 2

@kieronbarton1559 I would first try your local hobby shop. Usually they can order anything you need. If not try ordering from amain hobby or tower hobby. First I would try changing the pinion gear to a larger one. The instructions should tell you what size you can go up to
