- Here it is. The ultimate Placencia, Belize Travel guide. Will Mitchell and some of the RE/MAX Belize team head down south to the Stann Creek district to enjoy some of the great bars, restaurant, hotels and wildlife that Placencia has to offer. We visit Cockscomb national park and hike the tiger fern trail.

I spent 4 days in Placencia in 2012. Will I'm sure you heard of that project in Placencia back around 2012, called Sanctuary Belize? Well, I was one of the guys that bought into that scam. Didn't lose much though, not like many others.

We traveled down a couple years ago the new highway was not ready. Hummingbird was a beautiful ride
Needed to see which vibe we liked better there or San Padro
Is Dawns restaurant still open in Placencia? We liked it there as well as the other food places you mentioned
Hey Corey! By the time I made it into town everything but Rum Fish was closed so I am not 100% sure is Dawns was closed for the day or for good. We only had a quick trip in! Hop you enjoyed the video and thanks for checking it out!!

Hey Wayne! There are definitely some cool stops. St. Hermins Blue Hole along the hummingbird highway has a great cave. The cayes are really nice as well. I recommend Moho Caye & King Lewy's Caye
It looks like all the places you recommended to eat mostly serve American food? I hope we can find some local eats.
Wow! Swan Villas is OPEN?? We just drove by there an hour ago; and it’s for sale…and looks shut down 🤷♀️? It was pretty cool (Turtle Suite) several years ago; but…⁉️

Where do you stow your car while in San Pedro ? My family will be spending 20 days in San Pedro in Dec but not sure of a safe place to leave our vehicle when we do.
Hey there you can do long term parking at the municipal airport in Belize city.
You need to add more video of the actual landscape of the places you visit.

Placentia from the air port
Flight about 40 minutes and driving about 3 hours!
How are you flying drones around?
We have a drone permit
why fly into Placencia and not drive? Going next month.
Really depends on how much time you have for your trip, budget etc. The drive is beautiful. You can take the hummingbird highway if you want the long scenic route or the coastal highway for a more direct trip
How can you get there from San Ignacio?
Take the Hummingbird highway south! Drive is about 2:30 - 3:30 hours
