I have lived in Belize for years. I totally agree with everything you’re saying. We also love Florez. The longest I’ve stayed there is two weeks and it is definitely worth the trip. Tikal is also a trip worth taking.

As a voice coach, I noticed that when I turn the volume down, I can hear you better it could be my phone but often it’s the tone of the person I recommend hire pitch tone for you, because I feel like it blends well with the trouble where is when you finish your word with a long drawn out base vibration of the throat muscle it can be a little unnerving with too much base. I think you’re very good highs with the treble so I say, definitely play to your strengths

Not difficult. We were dropped off at the border and took another shuttle bus there. The Tikal tour annoyed us and we left the group. I'm not sure how doing it alone works. You'd still need the ride

I’m planning a trip to Guatemala and Belize this AUGUST: do you highly recommend not to travel in there in this period, or there’s just more probability to have rain, humidity and nothing more?

You’ll have to check the forecast, but we personally find winter to be the best in terms of weather.
Quick correction for those interested in location hopping: you can't fly into San Ignacio anymore, so shuttle/driving is your only option now.

If you cross over into Guatemala to go to Tikal do you need your passport? I mean I’m sure you do but I’m asking just in case?
Yes you need a passport every time you cross these borders
How did you travel to and from when you went to Guatemala?

Does your recommendations change for families with kids 9-14?
Not necessarily, but you have to make sure you understand the risks of traveling there like crime, violence, tropical diseases and critters
Whats it like going from belize into guatemala? Do they let you go in as long as you have your passport? Are the rental cars from belize allowed in?
Entry was easy and instant. We haven't tried with a car

I’m going this weekend for 5 days staying in Ambergris Caye but should I stay there all 5 days or do two days in Belize City??
It depends on what activities you want to do. Personally, we would do a few days on Ambergris Caye and 2 days in San Ignacio.
@@GeminiDiscover Thank you! That’s what I was thinking, getting an Airbnb in San Ignacio. I want to do the caves, Mayan ruins, zip lining, etc. probably not everything but whatever is most cost efficient

Lived in belize... its very violant... most everyone i met were selling out... the goverment will take your property... most boaters avoid it now... they tryed to take my boat too...
Yes living is a lot different than spending a week

girl! 7 days??? I stayed there for years and have not seen everything! Plus i did spend almost nothing. Stop spreading it is expensive and live local style. Then you really learn this beautiful country.
