Thanks for sharing my beautiful Belize. I'm happy you had a wonderful time. Yes, it's a safe country to visit. I wouldn't walk the streets at night in the city.
That was very helpful. We will be going to Belize for the new years. As a travel enthusiast, I have had the good fortune and the means to visit multiple destinations. I have always noticed some discrimination, because of my color (I am an Indian living in US). Over the years the discrimination has actually reduced quite a bit. And it used to bother me when I was younger. But I also found an advantage. Since you get perceived as being "not rich", less people try to rob you, heckle you for money and so on. But yes, you can feel it especially if you are the only brown person in a sea of white people! I will watch more of your videos for destinations i have not visited! Thanks!
Very Informative! I'm thinking of booking a solo trip there in November. The islands looks beautiful but it looks extremely boring lol I've watched a few RUclips videos and doesn't seem like there's much to do
Oh you have come to the right place. There’s A LOT to see and do in Belize if you know what you’re doing 😉 Feel free to check out my website, I can sort it for you
You should always have insurance while travelling but I think if you’re flying you don’t need it, by land you might need it. Best to check on the website of Belize Tourism
Thank you for this information. I am getting ready to be in Belize soon. My main destination is San Pedro but I want to visit continental Belize. What is the best, more convenient area to stay while in continental Belize. I appreciate any guidance.
I really liked Placencia and also going inland to San Ignacio for the Mayan sites and caving. I have an entire playlist for all these places, take a look, there’s also a food video 😊
Do it there, it will be cheaper. For ATM and Caracol just go to the Main Street in San Ignacio and there are plenty of agencies. For snorkelling there are tons of agencies near the pier on both islands
Belize is not expensive unless you are going to all the tourist places and Islands. Its $2 Belize dollars to $1 US dollar. A lot of groceries are imported so whatever you pay for in the US it will be about the same price. Example and box of cereal for $5 US dollar will be $10 Belize dollars and change. Things that are imported from Mexico or Guatemala will be a bit cheaper. On the Islands things will cost a lot more which is to be expected.
Great video. Thx for sharing your experience. You could have gotten less attention from the guides due to the culture. You come across as LGBT friendly & it is still taboo in Belize. Anyway, kept elevating until it time to go slow

Indeed! We are on the same page. We need this more out in open because I often feel like it is due to lack of exposure rather than hatred. 😊

Should I book all tours such as ATM caves and shark alley snorkeling before hand, or just do it when I get there?
Do it there, it will be cheaper. For ATM and Caracol just go to the Main Street in San Ignacio and there are plenty of agencies.

Hi my friend ! I am from Haiti but I live in Bahrain , how can you help me to get the belize visa
I’m afraid I don’t know much about the visa process for Haiti. Have you checked the Belize consulate?
@@brownboytravels no bro we don’t have the belize consulate in Bahrain
I’m afraid you’ll have to get it from the nearest embassy which is Saudi Arabia in this case
@@brownboytravels it’s not gonna easy cause money
I’m afraid I have no idea what else to do in this case
