Wow.. I completely forgot about these and like you said, never thought of them as video games. But these were some of my first. I had the Toy Story Animated Storybook and the Toy Story Activity Center. It never occurred to me as a kid just how impressive it was that they included so much new CG animation for those games, especially when companies were paying big just to have the Toy Story characters in a few seconds of commercials. It's funny, when clicking on this video I was like "I wonder if she'll talk about those two I had..." but the whole video wound up being about that series! It was such a cool surprise!
It was several years down the road that I learned Pixar did the animation for the game themselves. I think they mention it in The Pixar Story. Either way, really impressive that it looks on par with the movie most of the time. I think it was one of those "if you want something done right" situations.
Thrax Sablescales I had the 101 Dalmatians game and I still have my Toy Sorry Interactive Storybook disc still to this day. I watched Toy Story like every day. Today I want to work at Pixar, yet with today's easy 3D tools and programs, I may do my own stuff. But thanks for the memories!
I will tell him. I'm not sure how much he did. he claims he didn't do much but then that may have been him being humble. *shrugs* regardless I will tell him.
MeepManToy/Hydrazine He's talking about the ball icon at 2:44 in the bottom right corner, he's saying it looks like the One Star Dragon Ball. Does that help?
Tamashii's videos are always so well-made. The scripting, the editing and the video concepts are so solid. It's also nice that they're child-friendly enough to watch with kids. I really hope that she keeps it up.
The noises on that can of dog food in the 101 Dalmatians game is ingrained into my mind. I played with that program so much as a kid! And powdering the soot on the puppies! I remember that you can get a ridiculous number of them in the truck! I can't remember if I liked the fetch game or not, but I sure remember it. For me, my favorite was My Disney Kitchen and Disney Magic Artist. I probably spent hundreds of hours with the latter, and what do you know? 17 years later, I'm an artist!
Tamashii, I don't know if it's just me, but you seem super confident in the last few videos and I love it. Before I often would take a look at your channel every few months and watch a video if it caught my attention, but usually more often than not I would watch a video or two and leave. But now I find myself getting exciting when you have a new upload. I hope you take it more as a compliment and I hope I don't offend as I truly do mean it as a boost. Anyways, love the newer content and your attitude.
I think with 101 Dalmatians, they were trying to combine the 1961 version with the 1996 version where they had the art style of the original animated film, but had plot points in the live action film, like Roger being a game designer instead of a composer.
I got here by your collab with Jirard playing Pokémon R/S/E, and I clicked this video just for nostalgic reasons and... omg, I can almost remember all of this games, I also had a Winnie The Pooh interactive and who knows what other disney game I had. You just earned a new subscriber :)
Another stellar editing job on this one Tamashii, a fantastic yet tragically overlooked part of gaming history. 10/10 would play Mahjong and click question marks twice again. Looking forward to part Two!
Honestly, this was a wonderful video about something I had never heard of (because I'm old). Although the 101 Dalmations reminds me of the book + record things I had as a kid (literally a book, with a phonograph record that would read the book to you. They'd beep to tell you to turn the page. I had a lot of Disney ones).
I've got to say: i love that you're making videos about games that you hold dearly from your childhood. You're not just saying "not more pokemon! let's do a.... sonic review!" No, you're going for games that are special to you and that's something that i enjoy from reviewers on youtube. Great job :D
I think this is now my favorite video of yours. Your evolution as a content creator recently has been great since you shifted your focus to these full on reviews. I really hope you get more attention through this quality content :)
Soda King I subbed for Pokemon content. Not that the content she is making is bad, though it isn't what most of the subs subbed for. She should have made a total separate channel and used this one to promote it.
Dalium Gaming yea she would have prob 3 times more sub's if it still was Pokémon channel and your right I am getting a bit p***** off that not only does she upload every 3 weeks if were lucky its never pokemon related I mean I know sun and moon sucked but she didn't once upload a video of her playing it I still support her and watch her videos but you are correct it is a hypocrisy for her to still call this a Pokémon channel I mean. when she uploaded her reaction to Pokémon go I swear to god before that I thought she was dead or quit RUclips I hope things change soon
Honestly, Tamashii, this is great. And it's amazing to think how far you've come since your early Pokemon vids. You're so much more comfortable and capable in front of the camera. And I never played ANY of these as a kid, so this is a treat to see what all the fuss was about. Thank you.
Yes! Disney Interactive games were my childhood! It was so fun to look back on them with this video! I hope you continue to talk about the games that impacted you growing up because it makes for great videos. :)
I loved the Metal Harbor music from SA2 at 13:43 omg Also, my sister and I LOVED the Dalmatian one! We also had the 3D game, Puppies to the Rescue. It's honestly still pretty fun, have you played it/heard of it? I never see anyone talk about it.
I remember having a Winnie the Pooh storybook and a Lion King activity game when I was a kid- but I remember quickly running out of the room and asking my mom if the intro was over, because the red Disney logo really scared me for some reason. :'D
I thought I was the only one afraid of weird stuff like that! The Windows 95 start up noise scared me, so I'd always run away until I was sure the computer was done booting up.
Tamashii , could you tell us about the future of your channel? Will you continue the review of older games? Will you do a sun or moon let's play series? Or maybe even theories! I'd love to know!
I had the Toy Story Activity Center and 101 Dalmatians animated storybook for our old pc when I was younger, this definitely takes me back. I also played Magic School Bus explores the solar system, some of the Cluefinders games, 1 Carmen Sandiego game, and a gizmos and gadgets game.
As somebody who used to watch your channel years ago but just recently got back into it, this was a great video to jump back in. While I was a bit younger than a good chunk of people who played these games in the mid to late 90s, I still have fond memories of these Disney PC games as they were also some of my earliest gaming memories. Unfortunately none of the games I owned as a kid appeared in this video, at least gameplay of them. I owned the Pochahontas Animated Storybook, Winnie The Pooh Toddler Preschool and Kindergarten and Mickey Mouse Preschool and from what I remember they were very fun games as point and click kids games go. Thank you for reviving some classic gaming memories from my past, even though it was most likely unintentional
I LOVED these games growing up! I never had the ones for Hercules or Mulan, but I did have all the other two games that you talked about and it made me really excited to watch this. I can't wait to see next video. I hope you review more of these.
I know I'm probably too late for this to be seen, but I just wanted to thank you for your videos, I found your channel through your draw my life, it really drew me in. I was in 4th grade when the first Pokemon came out. It was really great to remember how great it was to have that community in those days when home life was hard and messed up. And now I've found at least a semblance of that nostalgic community, while trying to establish a new family and life.
The 90s Disney Interactive computer game I remember most fondly playing is the Toy Story Animated Storybook. Growing up, it was one of my favorite computer games.
Loved you starting with Toy Story Activity Center- really takes me back as the card game with Hamm was my favorite too! Speaking of certain aspects of the game scaring you, there was a separate Toy Story game for the SNES that completely terrified childhood me, and looking back now it seems a little silly but I can certainly see why it did. It was an earlier level called "Nightmare Buzz" (horror fuel enough) that starts with an eerie description that puts the player in Woody's shoes- "You are sleeping and have a bad dream..." Then the happy 16-bit background music of "You've Got a Friend in Me" switches to a [comparatively] menacing track while fighting an anti-Buzz. I feel like similarly to the CG of these computer games at the time, the compressed audio & visuals made for some unintentionally horrifying scenarios for a kid Anyway, awesome upload- thanks for sharing! :)
Aww, that ending was the best. Nice touch, Tamashii. These games are so nostalgic. The Disney game I remember most is 101 Dalmatians: Escape from DeVil Manor. Kinda an adventure/puzzle game if I remember right. Would love to see some of this game in a future video if you can get a copy. Great job as always!
What an amazingly well done video~! I especially liked that animated Tinker Bell scene transition, but I am in NO way biased or anything. ;D Kidding aside, just wanted to slip in this comment when no one was looking, keep up the amazing work, you are an inspiration to many people, myself included!
Way to push the nostalgia button, but I do oddly miss these types of games. Reminds me too of the cluefinder games. Keep up the awesome work I can't wait to see the next video! :D
Hey tamashii always loved your work but lately it's been so awesome you give me a laugh and you brighten my day with these reviews keep up the great work ^_^
Tamashii, Because of this video I dug through my old games. Most of my Disney Interactive games are gone but, I still have toy story 2, and Monsters Inc. Disney Interactive games along with all of my other PC games like I spy and Scooby Doo.
This was a really cute and informative video, and I totally had that Mulan Game you showed at the end. It's the main reason I ever learned to play Majong, and why its one of my most favorite kinds of games to just play out there to this day.
Hello I’ve just recently bought a gaming pc and I was wondering if there’s a way to download some of these, for my children to play like I did when I was a kid
It's so wonderful so see you do a video on these games! I have quite a few myself, but as you mentioned, its hard to do so with a modern computer. Maybe one day I'll dig up an old PC.
I wish I could have been old enough to grow up with them...But this still looks awesome! You explain it like it's your life!😆But your still my favorite RUclipsr!
Wow.. I completely forgot about these and like you said, never thought of them as video games. But these were some of my first. I had the Toy Story Animated Storybook and the Toy Story Activity Center. I had the Toy Story Activity Center as well. So fun... :D
We had the Aladdin Activity Center one! Also hi Chugga xD
I loved toy story game so much...one of my first games..
It was several years down the road that I learned Pixar did the animation for the game themselves. I think they mention it in The Pixar Story. Either way, really impressive that it looks on par with the movie most of the time. I think it was one of those "if you want something done right" situations.
chuggaaconroy can you subscribe, please?
IT IS 2016 AND I STILL FELL FOR IT GOD DAMN IT
im confused?
Windows U
18:45
Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
I didn't realize Tamashi was such a memelord
Reshiramax I think it's half memelord half copyright
It's so fitting that a video about old games contains a classic meme.
My uncle worked on some of these! 😀 he was in the interactive department of Disney and also worked on the phone.
He was an animator btw
Awesome! Tell him thanks for me :)
Disney's math quest was one of them he worked on he also worked on the 101 Dalmatians game. can't remember what else
Did I seriously just get Rick Rolled in 2016? You go girl.
Yeah, right? That came out of nowhere. I loved it xD
I'm watching this in 2017 (almost 2018), and I giggled. LOL
I feel old
man I love these more high production videos you make tamashi keep up the good work
I've been loving your recent videos! Your production quality has improved drastically even since just last year.
THAT LITTLE BALL IN THE CORNER!
CAN BE A BIG HELP. TO LEARN MORE ABOUT IT, CLICK THE QUESTION MARK TWICE!
Tamashii, I'm really enjoying the new direction for the channel. It's good to see you doing more things you enjoyed!
I don't remember the first dragonball being in the toy story movie. I must be getting old.
FUNKe, what are you doing here? Please explain, I'm seriously confused.
MeepManToy/Hydrazine He's talking about the ball icon at 2:44 in the bottom right corner, he's saying it looks like the One Star Dragon Ball.
Does that help?
Is the pixar ball -.-
Your videos have improved so much since I started watching 3 years ago. Thank you for the years of you joy you have provided for me mane many.😄
That little ball in the corner can be a big help.
Tamashii's videos are always so well-made. The scripting, the editing and the video concepts are so solid. It's also nice that they're child-friendly enough to watch with kids. I really hope that she keeps it up.

I love this whole video - awesome work as always, Tamashii :3

You just earned a new subscriber :)
The 101 Dalmatians Animated Storybook is actually based on the live action movie.
Headset Guy Yea I noticed that, people are probs confused as it is in the animated movie graphics style
I never saw the live action movie, so I was confused when I was a kid too.
+Headset Guy I've ONLY seen the live action one
I LOVE your videos! So entertaining!
18:37 Getting Rick Rolled in 2016 aside I can't listen to the original song without thinking about TFS's version.
Gshadow007 haha I'm the same way! I think TFS's is better XD
What episode of Dragon Ball Z Abridged did this happen?
Another stellar editing job on this one Tamashii, a fantastic yet tragically overlooked part of gaming history. 10/10 would play Mahjong and click question marks twice again. Looking forward to part Two!
"Son of a..."
And that's when I shouldn't have taken that drink, because I nearly died getting liquid out of my lungs..
:-D

You just rick rolled thousands in 2016. I'm not even mad. That's amazing.
I'm more of a humongous entertainment guy
llama dave same
same
llama dave Who?
llama dave oh my gosh yes!
*Drumroll* *Cymbal* AUWEHOOWEHOOWEHOO!

Great job :D
hey Tamashii are you then going to cover Kingdom Hearts? is that in the next video or will you do it separately? I love those games 🤗
I want to, but I'm also kind of worried I'm biting off more than I can chew. If it happens it'll be its own video.
Thanks for the response and the info! I'll be patient :D Keep up the great work! Great videos!
I want to see you cover it aswell, but at the same time it's a huge and scary subject to cover.
I think this is now my favorite video of yours. Your evolution as a content creator recently has been great since you shifted your focus to these full on reviews. I really hope you get more attention through this quality content :)
remember when CTRL+ALT+DEL restarted the computer?
Lucas and Pikachu oh yes
You're old.
I was born in 2001 lol
Back with Win 98 I never knew that combination :(
Lucas and Pikachu it still does...
I have been trying to find that Toy Story game for YEARS. Thank you Tamashii.
This isn't a Pokemon channel anymore.
Dalium Gaming it doesn't have to she's making great videos
Dalium Gaming It's becoming more like Brutalmoose.
Soda King I subbed for Pokemon content. Not that the content she is making is bad, though it isn't what most of the subs subbed for. She should have made a total separate channel and used this one to promote it.

Aww the nostalgia playing the Toy Story interactive story book hundreds of times. Nice editing Tamashii I liked it. 👍👍💜💜💜😉
I loved the Metal Harbor music from SA2 at 13:43 omg
Also, my sister and I LOVED the Dalmatian one! We also had the 3D game, Puppies to the Rescue. It's honestly still pretty fun, have you played it/heard of it? I never see anyone talk about it.
loving the new formula, new workspace look, and new content. keep up the good work!
Haha yay! I'm loved!
Will you be doing a Sun/Moon review?
xDagger totally!
She's turning her channel around so I doubt it, but I'd still like one.
You can only talk about Pokemon for so long until you get tired of it. I like that she is starting to put more variety into her channel.
xDagger Probably but she will wait a few months till everyone got the game becuase spoilers
well what a fucking waste this was a good pokemon channel *unsubscribes*
you're videos are getting even better! you should do a collab with Brutalmoose
Great work on this Tamashii! I look forward to see more in the future :D
There was also The Little Mermaid. I remembered owning it as a kid.
That one was one of my favorites^^
MerTamashii confirmed
I remember having a Winnie the Pooh storybook and a Lion King activity game when I was a kid- but I remember quickly running out of the room and asking my mom if the intro was over, because the red Disney logo really scared me for some reason. :'D
I thought I was the only one afraid of weird stuff like that! The Windows 95 start up noise scared me, so I'd always run away until I was sure the computer was done booting up.
Was it with Kiara and Kovu because mine was like this and was separated in a Timon and Pumbaa part and a Kiara and Kovu part
The Windows XP startup scared me when I was little.
I came back to this channel this year and Woow it's grown!
Good to have back Tamashi! Loving your new videos and your new look. Keep up the the good work hon.
Oh my gosh Tamashii!!!!!!!!! These games were my entire life growing up! I'm so happy to see someone talk about them!
Great video as always Tamashii! Keep up the fantastic work, I always love getting notified of a new video of yours!
These videos are getting better and better.
I feel like a psychic. Every time I think to myself when's Tamashii gonna upload another video one appears in my subscription box
I'm having a ton of fun with your new variety-type videos :D Keep up the great work
Thank you so much. So much nostalgia ❤️
I'm really loving your new videos. I know that work has been stressing you lately, so I wanted to let you know it's really paying off. :)

Loved the credits! To be honest, loved the whole video actually 😛
Tamashii
I love you new types of videos! It's nice taking a break from Pokémon and targeting other subjects!
You are and always have been my favourite RUclips
Also kudos for the tinkerbell thing
Really loving your new stuff! Thanks for the great work, tomorrow!
FREQUENT UPLOADS!!! THANKS TAMASHII-CHAN
I'm doing my best!
And now I've found at least a semblance of that nostalgic community, while trying to establish a new family and life.
as always your videos are awesome. i dont remember playing much of these games but i remember the games from this era. love the nostalgia
The 90s Disney Interactive computer game I remember most fondly playing is the Toy Story Animated Storybook. Growing up, it was one of my favorite computer games.
Did i just get Rick Rolled in 2016 im disapointed in you tamashii 18:47
This video is really good Tamashii your getting better every video
Loved you starting with Toy Story Activity Center- really takes me back as the card game with Hamm was my favorite too! Speaking of certain aspects of the game scaring you, there was a separate Toy Story game for the SNES that completely terrified childhood me, and looking back now it seems a little silly but I can certainly see why it did. It was an earlier level called "Nightmare Buzz" (horror fuel enough) that starts with an eerie description that puts the player in Woody's shoes- "You are sleeping and have a bad dream..."
Then the happy 16-bit background music of "You've Got a Friend in Me" switches to a [comparatively] menacing track while fighting an anti-Buzz. I feel like similarly to the CG of these computer games at the time, the compressed audio & visuals made for some unintentionally horrifying scenarios for a kid
Anyway, awesome upload- thanks for sharing! :)
Yay you're uploading more often!!! 😛😛😛
God I'm loving your new content. It's so entertaining!
I really like the editing style and content of your videos. It obvious how much effort goes into them :-)
What an amazingly well done video~! I especially liked that animated Tinker Bell scene transition, but I am in NO way biased or anything. ;D Kidding aside, just wanted to slip in this comment when no one was looking, keep up the amazing work, you are an inspiration to many people, myself included!
Great video, as always. I especially loved the part where you gave us some more information on Hercules. XD
Tamashii, how could you! That hasn't happened to me in ages. Lol. You've been killing it with the videos lately. Keep up the good work :)
If you do more 90s computer games, can you cover the Rugrats Adventure game? I loved it growing up!
Yeeeessss someday I will have to do one on Rugrats PC games. I had so mannnnyy
TamashiiHiroka I love u you should do more of this!
How about the Arthur games?
But did you know that the ball in the corner can be a big help?
Wow, that video gave me whiplash it was so nostalgic. Hope to see more content like this!
you are such a 90s kid makes me happy
Was such a huge collector of these things as a kid. Thank you for bringing up Mulan; good times.
I love how it says "in OUR story, she is the mother of Hercules." Great lampshade hanging there.
Really impressed by this video, might be my favourite Tamashi one. It's interesting, and very funny, well done Tamashi :)
Hey Tamashii I love your videos and even though I liked your older videos more than your new ones but I still love your new videos Keep me Coming!!!
genuinely rickrolled in 2016, well played tamashii. great video! loved it!
Your facts about Hera killed me 😂
18:45 Omg, Tamashii, you didn't! XD
Way to push the nostalgia button, but I do oddly miss these types of games. Reminds me too of the cluefinder games. Keep up the awesome work I can't wait to see the next video! :D
I used to love these games! I'm so happy you made this video ^_^
I remember playing the Toy Story Interactive Storybook so much as a kid; even though it often crashed on the last page :/
Living for this new theme with your vids
Really good video! I enjoy you adding little comedy parts into your videos! And nice Rick Roll!
need part 2! or just a video about pajama sam.. thatd be cool..
I didn't expect a new video so soon, i'm surprised pleasantly.
Disney Interactive games along with all of my other PC games like I spy and Scooby Doo.
i loved this so much thank you for the great video as always Tamashii (forgot to comment this yesterday)
Man, I come back to your channel after 1 year and you changed... I'll still watch don't worry.

i do hope you post soon
edit i havr now been rickrolled and j take back the nice things i said
This was a really cute and informative video, and I totally had that Mulan Game you showed at the end. It's the main reason I ever learned to play Majong, and why its one of my most favorite kinds of games to just play out there to this day.
This is amazing video, I really enjoyed it
Hello I’ve just recently bought a gaming pc and I was wondering if there’s a way to download some of these, for my children to play like I did when I was a kid
It's so wonderful so see you do a video on these games! I have quite a few myself, but as you mentioned, its hard to do so with a modern computer. Maybe one day I'll dig up an old PC.
